The First Nuke : a true story told as told by a HACK member

I woke up this morning, the sun glared in my drowsy eyes. I took a glance to my right, staring at my 3DS that was still turned on after I completed 3-4 on Paper Mario sometime in midnight. After a battle with my laziness, I got up. I went up to my computer, searching the power button with my hands and my blind eyes. I pressed it, and waited for it to boot up. Logging in immediately as the screen told me, and I instantly, instinctively clicked on Chrome and Minecraft. I searched the multiplayer section until I reached #5 Mc-War, my native habitat since the day I turned lvl 25 and joined HACK. I was quite for today, no random comments were made, my only traces of typography were simple words composed of "H" and "i".

I switched to a Barret50c, an unusual choice to my taste of guns. As soon as the map started, I rushed. 5 seconds later, before I knew it, I died. I repeated, and once again failed. Landon, a uncommon player that is above prestige level, was my killer. He took other victims with him, to the point in which he EMPed. Desperately, I tried to get a good aim and end his game. I left clicked my electronic laser wireless mouse, and with a precise scope and aim, he was dead. I cheered, but I was greeted by a message written in large sized font that read "You Died!". I inspected chat, only to see the message Landon launched tactical nuke. The game ended, and chat was spammed with a repetitive phrase "camper!". I found it quite annoying, but it suddenly stopped.

"NEXT MAP:Warsong_CTF" read the server, alerting players of the upcoming map. I chose the Iso, judging from past experience, I knew this was going to be a good game. The map started, I was automatically selected in the blue team, and I immediately double pressed the W key to a specific spot which I find perfect to my style of play. I sniped to every movement I saw, but my kills were slowly going up. I was irritated, I did not live up to my expectations as to the last time I played the current map when I emped. I still kept going. Before I knew it, I was at 11ks. My hands were uncontrollably shaking, I was desperate for future kills. Seconds turned into years, I became frustrated at the lack of opponents in my range. I decided to move close towards their spawn, but yet at a range which I knew I was safe. I took a glance to my right hand tab, it read "15ks".

Could I do it? I questioned myself after my excitement of getting an EMP, the question was directed to the possibility of a Nuke, a difficult achievement praised and bragged in the community. I sniped with precise aim , as ammo was falling short. The time was now at 90 seconds, and I just needed 6 more kills to complete the task. A dead silence overcame the chat, it seemed as the world was awaiting for it. 30 seconds was left, and I found it quite difficult to get my ks up. Nevertheless, I went up even closer. 20 seconds, A player was approaching me, supersam9 read above him. I quickly scope him and fired. The 20ks turned into a 21ks. My frowning expression turned into a smile. I achieved it.
I had a flashback, to the dates of August 2013. I joined MCWAR as a player that could not get more than 3ks. I complained to myself how I could never be good at this game. I praised to those who nuked, they must of been some type of god at this game. My mind went to the present, and here I was, my name next to the message "Tactical Nuke". I never felt so proud.
