What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? - I've played on Brawl for over 7 years (as of today actually) and know that it has many different servers / game modes. However, I specifically am very much into Party Deluxe (formally known as Minecraft Party / Party). I have spent a lot of time playing Party Deluxe as of recently and know how it works and how it could benefit from having another active moderator. I am also very aware of the rules and guidelines of Brawl and do my best to avoid breaking any rules.
What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - All of my prior Minecraft server moderation goes from 2018 and back, most of it from being admin on a few friends servers or servers that didn't really take off. I was however, very active on the forums of a former prison server and would find and record hackers to help the servers moderation be rid of any cheating going on. Outside of Minecraft, I've been a moderator of a discord server with around 2000 members for almost two years and know how to handle tough social interactions among members.
Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? - Brawl has quite a catalog of different game modes with an already sizable staff team. The issue I'm seeing however is with Party Deluxe being somewhat pushed to the side with not many staff being on all too much. I'm aware that when rules are being broken you can report a player and a staff member on a different Brawl game mode will come in and punish them accordingly. However, I believe with staff being more active on Party Deluxe, people who intend to break the rules would be less inclined to do so knowing they can be easily and quickly dealt with. While it definitely wont fix the problem, I think it would resolve a hefty amount of rule breaking, before any rules are even broken. I think with me being active on Party Deluxe and having past and current moderation experience, I would make a great addition to the staff team.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? - Yes but have not in years.

Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? - There's two instances I remember. The first one was with me and a friend back when I was twelve on (at the time), one of the most popular Minecraft servers. We wanted to get banned from the server so we used hacks to fly in the lobby in front of staff and got banned. I was permanently banned from the server until they did an unban wave sometime in 2018. The other instance was in 2017 where I used an x-ray texture pack on an SMP Minecraft server. My reason for doing so was because the server was very pay to win and it felt unfair to me, I was banned only for three days but did not play after that as I had no intentions to play on a pay to win server.

What do you consider your greatest strength? - I believe my greatest strength is to keep calm and treat other players fairly. At the end of the day we're all just here to play some games and as long as that's going on with no cheating or any other rule breaking then there's no issue to be had. If someone does something minor or borderline rule breaking then I'll most likely let them off with a warning. If it does become a pattern however I'm not afraid to take action.
What do you consider your greatest weakness? - My biggest weakness would probably be bringing up something I wouldn't or can't do myself to another person (or in this case a staff member). It's hard for me to bring up issue's with people sometimes as I'm nervous of being ridiculed or yelled at for doing something wrong. I will do my best to bring up anything I need to with staff however. This is more of a personal issue of mine but it may or may not have an affect.

Anything else you would like to state? - I hope that even if my application doesn't get accepted that there will eventually be more active staff on Party Deluxe as the game mode could really use them. I do still think I would make a great addition to the Brawl staff team and hope that I'm considered for the role!

 

Hey thanks, I only made my forums account today so this is my only post right now. I only found out about them a few days ago so that's the reason why I'm not active on here and I definitely can be now that I have an account. As for the discord I've only been active in the Party Deluxe one as that's the only game I play and the Party server itself isn't super active which is why I can't really be active either. I definitely could be more active in the discord though and will try to be more active.
