This is why you need to make your base FAR from spawn, and in a completely inconspicuous location.
(i.e. underground)

 

No, far from spawn.
This'll make it harder and less likely for people to find your base.

If you wan't protection, build FAR FAR away from spawn and even then, you may not be safe(freaking trackers)

 

Unfortunately, I don't think anyone has made a tracker yet.
I had a village to get emeralds, but I got TNT happy...

i hope no1 is using a cheat texture pack that would make it really easy to find every base and grief it

 

Pretty sure you will be banned if you are found using an x ray texture pack. It basically is cheating because you can find people's bases with little effort. Most factions servers do not all these packs anyway. I presume this one does as well, so don't be that guy and use them.

 

It gives you an advantage over other players, so no, it is not allowed,

 

how you find it out if someone is using this kind of texture packs?
not easy i guess but i hope theres a way to ban cheat textures...
