    So I just built a pretty impressive base for only 2 days of work, and I want to see your bases as well. Obviously don't include cords or anything so you cant be traced but I would just like to see the bases. Here's mine so far, not complete yet, but it's looking good.

    So like I said the base isn't done yet, just the lobby is complete. The individual rooms, and farms and things are not done yet so I will hopefully be updating this thread as we finish the base.

    Unfortunetly, 2 guys came and crashed the party in the base, they took all our stuff but we have a backup plan. So we moved to another location, far far way from spawn and those guys. I'll show the new base when it's properly built

    My brother is like a PVP Raiding nerd so here is some tips for protecting your base & making it practically un-raidable:
    • If your base is not going to be underground, make the outer layer of the base of a durable material, obsidian being most likely the best.
    • As I said, Make sure it has more than one layer, this reinforces it against TNT.
    • Once you have done that, cover the outerlayer of your base with Fence.
    • Then once the layer of fence is complete, then cover that in a layer of water, This makes TNT ineffective.
    There is many more tips I could give, if you see me on the server just ask. But if you do the above, in no way will your base look like a piece of art, but it will be very effective against raids.

    Yeah, I would always advise to make it underground, but if you don't want to, and you use the tips I just mentioned, you should be alright.

    The 2 nd base got raided, too close to spawn. Anyway we have established a new base with more and better stuff. The base is far from spawn and we can make our rooms before being attacked. Best of luck !

    There is no point to using obsidian. People can just break right through it considering there is no protection on this server.

    I wouldn't say there is no point. If your base is being raided, even with a diamond pick axe, it still takes some time to break obsidian, this can give you time to collect combat equipment / escape.
