[Suggestion] ELDER TALE FROM LOG HORIZON

    If you don't want to see Log Horizon, then I'll sum up the important parts. Everyone gets sucked up into this MMORPG called "Elder Tale", a class based adventure game similar to Runescape, but more in depth.

    In Minecraft, it would be extremely similar to WarZ, or for those who have heard of it, Dungeon Realms. The world itself would only have to contain WarZ, but with multiple towns for non-PvP gameplay. By that, I mean a new WarZ map with Safe Zones, and Zombies all over the place, replacing structures with small dungeon-like caverns, castles, and other stuff. But instead of zombies, there would have to be other mobs, and, like we already have in WarZ, a level system for the strengths of the mobs. So, in conclusion, the map and enemies themselves would be simple, other than quests which I will get to later.

    The players themselves will be allowed to choose, as I said, among a variety of classes. Tank, Enchanter, Sorcerer, Summoner, Monk, Swashbuckler, Cleric, and Assassin. I will go into full layout of the classes at the very end. The classes would NEED to have special attacks. They don't need to be elaborate crazy maelstroms, just small little tweaks of code to pleasure us. For example, the Assassin's invisibility, the Cleric's healing, and the Summoner's... summoning. Each class will have restraints, such as the armour they wear or the weapons they carry. Others will have perma-buffs, such as the Tank's Resistance and the Swashbuckler's Speed. Outside of the classes, there are levels. 1-whatever number you choose, it's 90 in the anime. The levels take fairly high amounts of XP to increase, and become harder over time, like in War. You get XP for killing monsters, by the way. The higher level of the mob, the higher the XP drop. In the anime, levels decide your attack, HP, MP, and defence rates. Since we don't have that, I figured we should have less levels, maybe 40 or so, and, instead of spending ours coding attack and defense, have it just decide things such as the spells/attacks you use, armour restrictions, and magic regeneration (like sprinting in War, but slower, and hunger goes down on cue). To be more specific on mana, say your a summoner, and you want to summon a standard zombie, and that costs 5/20 hunger. As soon as the zombie was summoned, you would lose 5/20 of your hunger, or two and a half chicken nuggets. You would then regenerate half a chicken nugget every 2 seconds. But, if you were a level 26 Summoner, you would regenerate half a chicken nugget every 1.7 seconds. So, as I was saying before, you would gain a new attack, or a tiny strength every level up, which would get progressively better and better. I'll might also go full out detail in that later.

    And now, for the quests. There will be major quests, such as raids or heavy duty dungeons, among smaller sub-quests such as killing x number of pig-men, or acclaiming the y which is a rare drop of the z. The major quests will require higher levels, and parties of players, usually with a mixture of support-based and attack-based players. After the quest is completed, you would receive epic rewards, such as specialty spells, massive XP, a horse whistle, or whatever else you would want. If it ever comes down to it I might make a table for this one too.

    That's pretty much the basis of the idea, I am now going to go into full detail on the classes and levels. This is going to be really boring, so get your p**n ready. It's tedious writing time...
    (L=Leather, C=Chain,W= Wood, S=Stone, I=Iron,G=Gold,D=Diamond,E=Enchanted)
    TANK: No armour restrictions for massive defense, meant to absorb hits at the front lines. Weapons: Sword-W,S,SE,I Axe-W,S,I,IE Armor: No restrictions Buff: Resistance I, II, III Spells: Shield: No damage for 5 secs, 15 sec cooldown. Outburst: Explosion with large knockback that does not affect the user. 15 sec cooldown. Fade: Invisibility for 10 secs, no attacking. 1 min cooldown. Ceramic: Gives all teammates resistance 1 for 10 secs, 1 min cooldown.
    Meteor: User flies into the air, then falls sprouting a large explosion attacking all in small radius. 1 min cooldown. Iron Castle: Gives all teammates wearing iron, chain, gold, or diamond get resistance 2 for 20 secs. Any tanks will be invincible. 5 min cooldown.
    SORCERER: Magical attacker with many roles, including range. Weapons: Hoe-W,S,I,G,D,GE Armour: L,LE,C,CE,I Specialty: Mana reduced to 0.5 seconds. Spells: FireCharge: Take a freaking guess. 5 sec cooldown. Needler: Shoots 10 arrows out of wand (Hoe) 8 sec cooldown. Outburst: See Tank Inferio: Spew flames everywhere like a bada**. 45 sec cooldown. P-Creeper: Stands for 'Portable'. Shoot a single tnt block. NO BLOCK DAMAGE. 20 sec cooldown. Diablo: If aiming at enemy when clicked, enemy is struck with explosion instantly, with leak damage to surrounding enemies. 20 sec cooldown.
    CLERIC: One of two support classes. Healing n' stuff. Weapons: Hoe-W,S,I,IE,G,GE,D Armour: L,LE,C,CE,G,GE Specialty: Each player in a 5x5 radius receives regeneration 2. Spells: Heal: Right click a player to heal part of their health. Health increased is levelx2. 8 sec cooldown. Enchant: Surrounding players recieve Strength 1 for 30 secs. 3 min cooldown. Health Cannon: SHOOTING BOMBS OF HEALTH REGENERATION? BEEN THERE, DONE THAT. 4/20 health regen per bomb. 10 sec cooldown. Ceramic: See Tank. Spamalot: Infinate Mana for surrounding players for 5 secs. 90 sec cooldown. Pandemic: All players are fully replenished in 15x15 area.
    ENCHANTER: The other support class. Buffs n' stuff. Weapon: Hoe-W,WE,S,SE,I,IE,G,GE,DE Armour: L,LE,C,CE,IE,GE. Special Ability: Mana is 0.5 seconds faster to regenerate. Spells: Enchant: See Cleric. Ceramic: See Tank. Heal: See Cleric. Endourance: Surrounding players receive Haste 1 for 30 seconds. 3 min cooldown. Spamalot: See Cleric. Iron Castle: See Tank
    LVL 1: 1 Spell, 4 second mana regen time.
    LVL 2: Mana regen reduced to 3.7 seconds.
    LVL 3: Recieve Buff, if none, Mana reduced to 3.5 seconds
    LVL 4: Learn new Spell (2)
    LVL 5: 3rd to Max Gear Restriction Unlock
    LVL 6: Mana reduced to 3.3 seconds
    LVL 7: Mana reduced to 3 seconds
    LVL 8: Bow unlocked, if none than Mana reduced to 2.8 seconds.
    LVL 9: Enchanting unlocked on appropriate gear.
    LVL 10: Magical items usable
    LVL 11: Learn new spell (3)
    LVL 12: Mana reduced to 2.6 seconds
    LVL 13: 2nd to Max Gear Restriction Unlock
    LVL 14: Mana reduced to 2.5 seconds
    LVL 15: Potions usable
    LVL 16: Buff upgrade, if none Mana reduced to 2.4 seconds
    LVL 17: Learn new spell (4)
    LVL 18: Mana reduced to 2.2 seconds
    LVL 19: Mana reduced to 2 seconds
    LVL 20: Buff upgrade, if none regen reduced to 1.9 seconds
    LVL 21: Learn new spell (5)
    LVL 22: Mana reduced to 1.7 seconds
    LVL 23: Mana reduced to 1.5 seconds
    LVL 24: Mana reduced to 1.3 seconds
    LVL 25: All possible gear unlocked
    LVL 26: Class Specialty Learned (If no buff exists), if none, Mana reduced to 1.1 seconds
    LVL 27: Mana reduced to 1.2 seconds
    LVL 28: Low level monsters now ignore you
    LVL 29: Mana reduced to 1 second
    LVL 30: Learn final spell (6)

    WHAT??? WHERE??? OMG HOLY CRAP TOO BAD NOW THIS GAMEMODE CAN NEVER EVER EXIST BECAUSE A NEW FREAKING GAMEMODE CAME OUT! AWWW SHUCKS, I WAS REALLY HOPING PEOPLE COULD ARCHIVE THIS FOR THE FUTURE, BUT NOW THAT THERES A NEW GAMEMODE NOTHING ELSE CAN EVER EXIST EVER.

    All in all, not a bad idea! However, as Balling said, there has just been a new server opening, so I doubt a new one will be planned to open for some time.
    Also, we would have to find a coder willing to create such a plugin, wether that is one of the current coders (if they have the time).

    Yeah, I had this in my head for awhile and I was originally going to do this before the new PVP came out. I decided to do this because I, no offence, don't really like the new server (IM SORRY ;u; ). There's still a chance though.

    Also to add what GreenPeas said, There is server funding to be involved, this isn't a bad idea but not just at the right time.

    Why wouldn't we want to release severs as fast as we can? We don't need a "delay" between them.

    Added the support classes, Cleric and Enchanter. I feel guilt about copying all the enchantments, but oh well. #YOLL (You Only Live Lazily)

    I don't really think basing it off of an anime like Log Horizon is a good idea. Some people wouldn't understand the story, and it would be rather difficult to undead tans the in-depth stuff.

    While I'm a very big fan of JRPGs and MMORPGs, I feel like basing a server off our own theme or FF/XBC would be more appealing and easier to adapt. Along with that, we have a number of W.I.P server on the way, and also, we don't have a developer for this stuff.
