Idea killcam

    in mc-warz, a killcam would be helpful. it would allow people to see how they died and would reduce people from ccusing other of hacking. it would allow people to know if they were killed by hacks or it was just a good kill. it could also be a cool way to show cool ways of killing people.

    Very true, this would be a very useful add-on for the server to use. However, how would you suggest it would work, there is no way (I Believe) of making this possible in the current versions of Minecraft & Bukkit.
    I guess for now, we can only dream of such a thing....

    I love the idea, but I believe it would be too hard to code, if not impossible.

    It would be impossible and [probably, this is just me being dramatic.] illegal. It would basically have to code to have footage from YOUR computer and put it onto someone else's screen. You should think about the problems this could cause.

    I dont think there is a plugin that can be made for this.
    But maybe if you concentrate really hard, you can picture a killcam XD XD

    I am 90% sure it is impossible in the current stages of Bukkit to make a Killcam that can show you how a player killed you.
    The only 'KillCam' possibility is that you can immediately be teleported to the player who killed you in /vanish & with access to do nothing but move. So you can watch what the player is doing for the following 5 seconds AFTER he has killed you (you cannot see how they actually killed you).

    So it's up to you guys? Would you like to see this on WarZ?

    that could actually be a good idea. this is what they use now on battlefield.

    If the killcam is going to be implemented, mc-war becomes CoD.

    I bet you got that idea from CoD. The killcam however, would be extremely hard to code. You want proof that it's extremely hard?     P.S. Yes, I know this is a WarZ suggestion. However, it would be just as hard to implement a killcam in WarZ as in War.

    No it isn't; it's only an unrealistic version of CoD. Pretty much the guns, gamemodes, and maps are the only thing very similar to CoD.

    With the amount of deaths happening at one moment, this would cause so much lag. It would be so hard to code to.
