Hiding players

    During passing period between games spawn can get really congested especially on the parkour maps (keep adding parkour maps btw). There needs to be a command like /hide which hides all players during the period. Once a game starts players can be seen like normal. When the game ends players are hidden once more.
    This will cut down on lag and making the parkour easier and more fun.
    Many servers have done this and people seem to like it.

    I see no harm in doing it. Always lag on the parkour and my movements unregistered so i fall. This would greatly reduce it.

    Ummm this wouldn't really stop lag. The players would still be there, just you couldn't see them

    More particles etc means more lag.

    A big invisibility shower is what I'm imagining.

    Believe me this solves a lot of lag. On one server, that has like a 6000 player cap, theres an option to hide players. It doesnt invisible potion them all, its just a clientside /vanish. My friend has a horrible computer, and this saves them from crashes.

    This does prevent lag but, we only have a max of 70 players on a server... The only reason some servers do that is because they have a sign operated spawn and with 10k players it will be impossible to do anything.

    6000 Players? That's impossible! The server just shows it has 6000 Slots, but there are maybe 60 Servers with 100 Slots.

    And why you don't use optifine to reduce lag and get more FPS?

    Yeah, if it were for all the servers, then I feel it would become too much shotbow or the other multiminigame games.

    Thats what i meant. The clock is what i mean by hiding players.

    70 players is still a good amount. This will help out people with slow computers and so its a win win. Theres really nothing negative about this prop.
