    I've never heard of any of these people except bolt, I'm guessing it's made up just to show an example of the contest template.

    Yes, I think you're correct Matt.
    Similar to many other features on the forums currently, they are examples of features that will be working once they have been configured.
    I guess you could say the website is kinda in BETA version at the moment.

    Back on topic- there are other examples of things to come, such as the recent threads section where all the recent threads are by Mockuser23 and are about Herobrine. I think this crossbow contest template is no different.

    If you win the contest, you get an iPad. I've been told that both the crossbow and ray gun both used to be contest items.

    Not to mention that when you go to a player's profile page, you can see their statistics for multiple servers. Unfortunately the figures I saw were made up as I soon discovered. It's a shame, I was rather looking forward to finding out everybody's statistics.
