Idea Armour and Weapon Enchantments

    So, I was thinking what if every armour that could be found in WarZ could have some sort of Enchantment on them. For example maybe I could loot a chest and find a Protection I Iron and look in another and find a Protection IV. There could also be Enchantments on Swords and Guns. For example : A ability like a Barrett that shoots Flame Bullets? But everytime you loot a chest with a weapon or armour it could have a different enchantment. I don't know I just thought this was pretty cool idea to be added into WarZ and make a different feel to the game. :grinning:

    Maybe a, hue, EnchantedBullet?

    Anyways, ( ignore that ^ ) I like the idea! However, it should be rare because protection on iron/diamond could be really cheap. Besides that, I feel like this could add a good twist to the game.

    This would be op.. I think there should just be an enchanting table and when you pop it in it gives a random enchant. Need to nerf ja man?

    This idea is op, but it could be implemented if it was immensely tweaked. For example, diamond and tier III/IV shouldn't be allowed to be enchanted. Only leather, iron and Tier II/I should be allowed. I also think the enchant number should be allowed only a max of one. Can you imagine an iron chest with prot II? That's more powerful than a diamond chest. Of course, if enchanting with certain limits were allowed, the enchanted gear would have to be 3x rarer than finding a diamond chestplate. I'm gonna remain undecided for now.

    Hmmm, seems really good, but Barrett with flame? Diamond prot 4? It kills the DayZ mood of the server, maybe prot 1-2 but extremely rare, rarer than mountain dew.

    Don't think an Enchanting table would be better. Players would just have unlimated xp.
    But, thanks for the feedback.
    It was just an example, they could also do other things.
    Sure, maybe my idea needs a couple tweaks.

    rename and retexture the enchantment table to workbench or something and rename the enchantments to improved muzzle etc. Then everything fits in to the style of the game.

    Just too OP for my liking..
    I like WarZ to be how it is now. Iron armour is Iron Armour. Diamond armour is diamond armour. I'd rather not be messing around with enchantments.

    Maybe people could be allowed to enchant lower level armour like leather? This means that it gives the player some more protection, but not to make them impossible to kill. Also, if players are allowed to enchant lower level armour. It should only be low level enchants, like protection II. Nothing OP like Protection IV and Fire resistance.

    My thoughts exactly. I like WarZ how it is, without extra complications and full protection IV diamond armor people with Barrets that do more damage and AKs that set you on fire, and noobs with protection leather and MP5s that do more damage, I can already kill someone with a barret with MP5 (Done it) and I really don't need to lost good stuff to noobs.
