Mc-Warfare ideas

    Hello everybody, I could only be on for about 30m so I have to make this quick, I want to make a few ideas such as K/S, Resource Pack additions, Guns, Donor items, and more. Here we go! Let's start'er up!


    1: Music
    Category: Resource Pack addition
    Importance level (1-10): 3
    Description:
    If you've ever played any Call of Duty multiplayer server you would recognize the music. Wether it be Black Op's Intense rock, to Black Ops 2's nerve wrecking dubstep, to Modern Warfare 3's grinding pop, these music pieces would be a great addition to the server. We all know about the announcer at the beginning of every game, and if orange could add that, he can add this! A simple music piece that plays every time a game starts would be professional and would tell more players that this server knows what it's doing.



    2: Remington
    Category: Gun
    Importance level (1-10): 6
    Description:

    One of the most loved shotguns of any Call of Duty game, the Remington is a pump action masterpiece. With high damage, medium range, and beautiful buckshot accuracy, this weapon was fun, efficient, and easy to just pick up and use like a pro. I will not choose what level this gun should be put at because I'm bad at that kind of thing. So I'll just leave it with the admins.


    3: Bouncing Betty
    Category: Donor item
    Importance level (1-10): 8
    Description:
    A very amazing lethal explosive item, the Bouncing Betty is a explosive that is set on the ground, and explodes when movement is detected within 3 blocks. When movement is detected the block makes a geary noise, followed by a explosion that will instakill within a 5 block range. If an enemy holds Shift as the bomb goes off, he will not take any damage. The Bouncing Betty could be a Blue carpet retextured as a round, flat object with a red tint of light in the center. The item would cost 4.00 USD and be available for purchase at any time.


    4: Decoy
    Category: Tactical grenade
    Importance level (1-10): 4
    Description:
    The decoy is a grenade that has tricked many players in Black Ops into their own demise. In the real Call of Duty games the Decoy would simulate gunfire, and mark a fake player indication on the enemies minimap. But since Mc-War does not have a Minimap system, we'll have to spice it up a bit. In Mc-War, the decoy would simulate very LOUD gunfire. About 2x louder than normal gunshots. And instead of showing up on a minimap, it shows a fake player nametag. If you don't know what I'm talking about, the Nametag is the tiny rectangle on top of every players head that indicates their name. The decoy would have a much more visible nametag, by that I mean you can see it through walls much easier. The nametag would take the name of any staff member (lol). I thought this would be kinda funny, but if you don't want it to be a staff member name it can just be anyone currently in the server. The decoy would despawn within 30s. The Decoy would be a free weapon, but it will cost 50 credits for every game. A player will spawn with 2 per life.


    5: Smoke Grenade
    Category: Tactical grenade
    Importance level (1-10): 9
    Description:
    A very popular grenade, the smoke grenade blocks all vision by sending out a big cloud of smoke. This would be very easy to code, and would cost 50 credits a game. I don't have to spend a lot of time explaining this so excuse the short description. So we know the smoke particles, they billow out of our gun barrels, they go off with every grenades/c4 explosion, and more. So what would be so hard about a grenade that sends out a big cloud of smoke particles that blocks all means of visibility through the other side.


    6: Knife buff
    Category: Server enhancement
    Importance level (1-10): 5
    Description:
    I have suggested this before, and it got lots of hate. The idea? Making the knife a 1 hit kill. But I have a way to make it much more even. I think we could lower it's range into a 1 block range, and make it a 2 hit kill. The superknife would be a 1 hit kill, with a 2 block range. Also we need to lower it's swing speed. If it were a 2 hit kill it would be too easy to get a kill with it because of it's rapid swing-rate. We could lower the amount of times you can use the knife at a time, lower it's range, and presto! It's perfect! I couldn't see any flaw with this. Force field hackers abuse the knife already, and are reported pretty quick. So honestly this could be a possibility.



    So that's it for now guys. I will add on to this at a later time, but for now I have to keep it at 6 ideas. Let me know if you think one is strong/weak and I'll see if I can make it more even.

    Well it might be a insy-tinsy bit laggy. No, that many smoke particles would be very laggy. Imagine someone buying a ton of smoke grenades before a match starts, and then proceeding to spam them EVERYWHERE. Very laggy if you ask me.

    I like the other ideas though :smile:

    Also, Optifine can turn that off. Semi-xray.

    Optifine can turn off fog too. So when you get blindness, whether from an emp, or a flashbang, if you have it turned off, you will be able to see just fine, but the sky will still be black.

    The smoke particles aren't laggy at all (if you've ever played Minestrike :l )

    I mostly like the music idea, it should be that the music depends on what cod game the map is from and what team your on (for a few examples: the mw2 rangers spawn theme would play if you spawned on blue team on highrise, and mw3 spetsnaz spawn theme would play if you spawned on the red team on downturn) and of course add the victory and defeat themes too :3 (I <3 mw3 spetsnaz victory/PMC defeat) would that be hard to code??? If so, it would be SO worth it

    Still, even if its not laggy, you'd have to make it so only the opposing team can see the smoke, or else people might just spam smoke grenades all over their own team.

    I think adding the Reminton might be a bit weird. Six of every gun except for the
    shotguns? I don't know.

    Maybe they could switch the SPAZ-24 or the TYPHOID for the reminton.

    Actually the proper name IS SPAZ-24. Make sure you've got your CoD facts right :smile:

    The Remington would be almost exact to the moddel, just would have a bigger clip size. FYI how can you say the Remington is the best in all CoDs? By far its either the moddel 1887 akimbo FMJ from MW2(my favorite), the spas-12 from MW2, or the striker. The remington is like my 6th or 7th favorite.

    I didn't say the Remington is the best shotgun in CoD. I said it was one of the most loved Shotguns of Black Ops 2.

    :l o**** I misread one phrase of my post. I completely lost the argument.

    If you need me to go deeper into this, I will. You said that I said the remington was the best weapon. When in reality I said it was ONE OF THE MOST LOVED. Not the best.

    Your mother****ing argument is invalid.

    Maybe we could get mining fatigue (swing slower) when we switch to knife, kind of like how we get slowness II when we ADS?
