you cant exactly say whats better.
Depends on gamemode, skills and map.

 

In most maps the minigun is the most useful but the cbow also is good to use

If a map has close combat, mini gun is more useful. Crossbow is more for ranged atacks.

Minigun literally rips through enemies. Great at close range, up to 15 blocks away. Runs out of ammo quickly though.
Flamethrower is a support weapon, sets enemies on fire and rarely gets you kills. Again, runs out of ammo quickly.
Raygun shoots an instantaneous beam that explodes on impact and goes through enemies. Great for infection. Only starts with 16 rounds, so not a lot of ammo.
LAW shoots a wither skull that creates an explosion on impact. Not too good anymore. Has a lot of ammo though.
Crossbow acts like your normal Minecraft bow except with more damage. It also will explode the bolt after 2 seconds. Arching bolt. Not a lot of ammo either.

 

This. I understand you are curious about which donator weapon is better, which one you should buy, ect. But there are many other threads you could have looked at to get the same outcome. There are many donator weapon guides out there, just search for one next time before you ask.

Personally, when I was a noob, I started out using the MiniGun. It turned out to be a very effective weapon for all game modes, and does indeed rip through the enemies. I would highly suggest buying scavenger with it, for it does run out of ammo quickly.

 

The minigun actually used to be the WORST donor weapon. I hope it stays as it is, because it's fine as it is ATM

I think it's well balanced as of now. It's limited amount of ammo really keeps it in check. It's stronger than most normal automatics, but it's rage is also slightly worse. Hopefully it will remain as is.

 

It could get one small nearf and one small buff:
The recoil could be a bit lower.
And the damage of the bullet 0.5 hearts higher.

 

Exactly right. It all depends on what kind of map you are playing on. Also, if you are good with the bow, or if you are good at using shotguns or what not.
