Multiplayer Servers Mod Application:


First of all let me introduce myself, my name is Romeo, I live in London U.K and I love PC gaming, I’m a smart and sporty person always looking to help people in need of it. I look up to many hoping to one day be like them, I’m inspired to be a R.A.F pilot when I grow up, then advancing to a normal commercial airliner pilot.


Also one more thing, I’m just going to apologies for me applying when I joined, I was completely wrong to apply, as I didn’t know you had to be active on forums to get the position. I hope you understand/ accept my apology.


Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and Teamspeak? – First of all, let me talk about in game. In game I’m on the server for a limited 4 hours a day on weekdays, this differs during holidays/ weekends as I’m usually on for 6 – 8 hours although this could change a bit too as I play on other Mc-Brawl community server. A little flaw in my in game activity and TS activity is that on Mondays and Thursdays I’m away at air cadets, this is where I train to be a pilot, I’m obviously not all about gaming, I have a normal life to get on with; including school, family and others… Now teamspeak. On teamspeak (TS) I’m on whenever I play minecraft or even whilst doing other things like homework, meaning I’m probably a tad more active on TS than I am in game, helping people, playing with friends, or even just discussing things about life, I’m always there to help. Now finally forums, I feel has become a great part of my life/ hobbies, I love going on the forums for a minimum 2 hours a day at night, my parents say my bed timing is 9pm but instead I stay up on the forums and go on youtube from 9pm to 2:30am max, I love helping, discussing, and chatting with players/ members on the forums. I try my best to post on the forums and considering my activity this would count as my 305th forum post.


Which server are you applying for? – I am applying for the position of Moderator on the Mc-Warz server.


How old are you? – I’m 13 years old; my 14th birthday will be on the 1st of August.

What time zone are you in? – I am in the GMT +0 time zone (U.K)

What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? – Well, when I was first introduced to minecraft I though it was the worst/ stupidest game ever, I found out about it whilst I was at my neighbours house, we were on youtube and there was minecraft all over the front page. I was interested since it was so popular; he showed me a little video on it and my first impression… not so good… After a few days I though of it and actually tried it out, well let me tell you something. It was the greatest thing ever, I remember building my first house of stone and learning about crafting, building, redstone engineering (when it came out), and much more. Multiplayer was a new feature to me after a long time of single player, I was getting bored and though of playing online and maybe even making some new friends… Little did I know that minecraft didn’t allow me on servers, the reason was I was on cracked minecraft, sooner or later I resolved this issue and played more on cracked servers, I made plenty of friends and even some enemies. After a year and a half of great minecraft playing, my pc got a virus and it was beginning to slow down, I was running at 20 fps max, I was terrible and I had to play like that. I told my parents about this issue and later on they got me my new amazing computer. I was fed up of cracked and luckily my friend gave me a minecraft account, Chefbalzy I was a good builder, good at redstone, and helped with much more building etc… It was great because this is when I found out about Mc-War and WarZ, I played on both those servers and had a great time… Until … I got hacked, lost my minecraft account and all progress. I felt terrible and I had to go back to cracked, later on my other friend got a new account, thankfully he gave me this account, I’m back on warz and mcwar, but I don’t play war as much anymore. So here I am today, that was my little story of my experience and knowledge of mc.

What is your experience with moderating servers? – I have been staff on a great amount of servers, from owner, co-owner, admin, super-admin, mod and so on… I’ve had a server before and It unfortunately shut down due to funds, I had max players of around 40 on it at once and I felt it was a great accomplishment for my first server, this is my video of when I made the server, It was new, I was a bit squeaky and young and I was bad with making ranks etc… That soon changed and my server went uphill-

I have other then that been staff on over 7 servers, making it a great experience, unfortunately I have no proof of these, I’m really sad about it but all screenshots and evidence wasn’t really needed for me, I had no idea sooner or later it would get to this. This would in fact my first time being moderator on a server this big, I feel it will be a great experience and I may also learn some new skills/ techniques.

What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? – If I become part of the McBrawl WarZ staff I will assure a safe, hack free, DdoS free and swearing free community. I will help players as much as possible dedicating all my time to the members of the server either helping them or solving some issues they may have. I will make sure to keep the server swearing free as much as I can, although swearing is not really a rule I feel that younger children shouldn’t be exposed to this type of language, especially through a online game made for ages 7 years plus. I will make sure that no one is afraid/ worried as other players threaten to DdoS him or her, I will make sure that they will be dealt with and punished severely for their actions. I will also be a fair Moderator, friends or enemies will all be treated equally as if they break server rules friends or not they should all be punished not by the way they are, by what they have done wrong.


How active do you consider yourself in-game? – As stated above I believe I’m very active, I am on for a minimum of 45 mins to a maximum 8 hours a day. During weekends or breaks is when I’m mostly on. I try to be as active as possible on weekdays but unfortunately school, homework and other activities like air cadets hold me behind from this. Meaning a max time of 5 hours could be met. Although all of this, I’ll try go on other WarZ servers, as if I moderate only popular servers other may think it’s fine to go on servers that have less players and hack/ do what they want there, I will spend an equal amount of time on all servers making sure they all get the Moderation they need.

How active do you consider yourself on TS3? – On TS I feel I am extremely active, I go on TS whenever I’m on minecraft and more, even if I’m doing homework, or any other curriculums.

How active do you consider yourself on the forums? – I feel I’m at medium with my forum activities compared to TS and in game. I’m on for a minimum of 2 hours as stated above and on good days could be on for at least 4 – 5 hours browsing, posting and even chatting with others on the forums. Also as stated above I have acquired 305 posts as of this one (this app is my 305th post).

What do you consider your greatest strength? – I feel my greatest strength is I am able to deal with many players/ situations at the same time; I am able to answer many questions as well.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? – My greatest weakness is that I take criticism really seriously, I don’t like it when people have to go to a point where they curse me or my family as I get a bit upset, although this doesn’t really affect me that much because people don’t do it to me as much now since I’ve joined McBrawl.


How would you handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time? – If someone makes a minor transgression for the first time, I would have to warn them about what they are doing in a private message.

How would you handle the same person doing it again a second time? – If he/ she does this a second time it will result in a public message telling him what he did wrong and a kick, I will also take screenshots/ videos for further evidence/ proof.

How would you handle that person doing it again for the third time? – If this player does this a third time I would ban him for an hour, I will take more evidence and will move it onto the forums reporting section.


What is your reaction if someone publicly proves you wrong on the forums? – I would apologies for my mistakes if I was proved wrong, I will publicly tell them that I was wrong and state that they were right, there will be no more further arguments/ messages on this after.

What would you do when someone breaks a rule on the forums? – If someone breaks a rule on the forums, I will give them a warning, ask them to delete it, or forward it to a higher member of staff so that they may resolve the issue if I’m unsure of what to do.

When would you lock a thread? – I would lock a thread in these situations stated below.

- The thread has turned into a flame war and has no way it would go back to its normal state.

- The thread poster/ owner requests a lock.

- It is a pointless thread.

- The thread is a duplicate of another.

- The thread includes inappropriate behavior towards players/ the server.


Describe yourself in 3 words: Intelligent, Humorous, respectful

Describe yourself in 1 sentence: I am a very kind, funny and smart person, I will always try to help people and will deal with situations other then finding a way around it.

Anything else we should know about you? – I am in fact a member of the Air Cadets, I am a first class CDT and I’m in further training to be an R.A.F pilot meaning I have a great knowledge about planes, science, mathematics.

Situation: A player is out of the map on MC-WAR. What are the steps that you would take to ensure that this player and situation is properly dealt with? – If a player is found out of the map, I will first of all take screenshots incase of any further actions. I will privately warn the player of what they are doing wrong and tell them to get back in the map or /spawn, I will then ask the player how they got out, either it’s a bug, spot, glitch…. This will also then be reported on the forums. If the player refuses to follow instruction it will result in a kick. If caught again I will ban for a timing I think is suitable, again reporting the player.


I have made up these 3 situations as the on above is irrelevant to WarZ.


A. A player is caught using any sort of hacked clients, what steps of action do you do? – If a player was caught hacking I’d try get as far away as possible then start the recording for proof, I will then head up to the player and do what is needed to acquire proof to ban, if the player is clearly hacking I will instantly ban for an hour, report footage to forums for further details.

B. A player is caught giving out DdoS threats or even death threats etc … what actions do you take to the player? – If a player is caught threatening another player this will resolve to an instant 1 hour ban, I will of course take any evidence needed and further report on forums.

C. A player is caught spamming/ advertising, what actions do you take to this? – If I find a player spamming, I will send a personal private message asking them to stop, If carried on I will warn publicly. If the player still caries on it will result in a kick. If anymore I would kick again for second time, after that it’s a 1 hour ban, also showing proof of why he was banned/ kicked. If a player is caught advertising, this will result in a 1 hour instant ban with reasons why. I will also take screenshots to supply further proof.


Do you generally know how all the plugins and commands work? – Yes, I have a clear understanding on all basic minecraft plugins, like banning, kicking etc … I’m also able to quickly learn any new commands if needed for Moderation of the WarZ servers.

Do you realize that if you are disrespectful or abuse your power, your power will be taken away? – I fully understand that I will be demoted if I am disrespectful or abuse my powers as a Moderator; therefore I’ll always be as calm as possible and not listen to players asking for kicking/ banning players for no reason, I will lock threads/ report people with real evidence and when needed.

Well, first, TS activity varies as I said, I also may not be in your timezone meaning when I'm on you may not be, I'm hardly ever in private channela, I switch around lots to play with people or help others in need. Although I accept your opinion on it, just saying incase you were unsure.
