Rude Staff and Players?

That is bad.

 

Not sure if he though the teams were rank prefixes or not... someone may of made a team called "Admin" and then messed around with him.

I have seen rude/disrespectful players on the PvP Survval server. As much as I would like to resolve this issue, people will be people. We can't stop them, and we can't protect other from them (when staff are not online). I would want more than anything for the McBrawl servers to be filled with only respectful, mature members, but that's not how Minecraft servers work.

 

I agree. The server needs staff. I've been on there multiple times now since the new optifine update and there are loads of hackers. It's just unplayable for new players when it comes to building and such because there's no Warzone (Or a area that's around the spawn, that is uneditable) and people tend to just mess up the surrounding area. I myself, thought about of applying for staff, but due to lack of time on my hands, haven't done so. I'm not really active on the forums as much as usual anyways. But yes, in case any staff sees this message: We need MOAR staff on the PVP Survival beta server. Thank you.

 

I bet more players wouldn't have been very rude if they knew who Sasuke was. Most players usually only act nice to an extremely popular youtuber they know. For the staff, I think he's exaggerating that since the staff could be demoted if they were rude.

 

It's not difficult to distinguish mods from players on PvP Survival...
Moderators have a pink name in chat and a distinct prefix in tab.

Possibly, but it's highly unlikely.

 

I agree that we need more mods. Im not trying to not insult the mods that we have now, but there aren't enough to do proper moderating.

I agree with this, I just don't get on often enough to be a mod. We need someone who can dedicate their time to this.

The thing that's pretty bad here is the Rude Staff part. Our staff are supposed to be friendly members in the community that help people and are generally nice, not assholes who curse and don't do anything good. We need more and better staff on the PvP server in my opinion, because only one mod on that server really does their job. No names. The other mods ignore players who want help, and expect normal players to tell them. That's pretty bad :L
He may have mistaken the VIP rank for moderator or something, but it may be likely that he thought some of the staff are rude. PvP staff, don't be rude :V

 

AndyInaBEARsuit is really helpful toward new players. Every time a player asks a question, he's always there to answer it. But like you said... we need more mods.

 

I have considered applying for PVP mod as there is not PVP mods in my timezone currently...
I'll just wait and see what happens in the next Mod Grading first.

 

I completely agree in some parts. Sometimes the staff on the PvP server respond, but its almost a rare thing. The majority of the time I see the mods just keeping chat clean, but pretty much ignoring questions etc. I think that staff should either step it up and try to help players more, or accept more mods to help them out.
