MCBRAWL Servers Mod Application:

Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and Teamspeak? - I consider myself active on all. I spend most of my time speaking with members on teamspeak as many will agree. While talking to the members, I am on minecraftparty and warz playing. My forum active is not as good as other mods but I think it is good.
Which server are you applying for? - I am making this application for the MC-Warz servers

How old are you? - Still 15...
What time zone are you in? - Central Timezone (U.S)
What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? - I started minecraft a long time ago, I simply found it when searching for popular games. Later on I got addicted and could not stop, although survival does get boring after a while. This is when I found out about minecraft multiplayer, it allowed for so much more. The first server I actually played on was mc-war! I soon got hooked on the servers, even though I found others, I still enjoyed this one the most.
What is your experience with moderating servers? - Well, I am currently moderator on here (as of 1/24/14) and it will hopefully stay that way.
What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? - The real reason I have made an application for the warz server is because we are lacking moderators on the server. Usually there are only 3 active mods on warz (Ole, Greenpeas, and minecraftbro). They are usually all on at different times chilling on server # 1. This made me realize that warz is in need of some decent moderators. I personally enjoy warz and play it when I need a break from minecraftparty so I thought, why not apply? The reason being, warz needs the most staff on it (my opinion). Staff need to record hackers, report players, stop spammers, stop DDoS threats (and other threats that are inappropriate), this is why I think a warz mod has the hardest job of all. Basically, if I was given moderator on warz I would evenly devote my time to minecraftparty AND warz making sure I keep things running "smooth" on both servers. I would go on Warz with fraps on recording evidence of hackers and taking screen shots of rule breakers, I would report these players on the website and if I notice something needs to be done at the current time I will give them the proper punishment.

Basically if you don't want to read all that, on the warz server I will be watching the server while playing it hopefully preventing another user's experience being ruined by some jerk thinking it is funny to hack, spam, swear, advertise, or threaten players.

How active do you consider yourself in-game? - I play for around 2-4 hours on weekdays and almost all day on weekends.
How active do you consider yourself on TS3? - Very active, you can ask many players on teamspeak if I am active. I am almost always on it, even if I am not on the server. I always considered teamspeak my strong point.
How active do you consider yourself on the forums? - Running around 510 posts I do not have as many posts as I would like. I will still continue to help others out and continue talking to players on the forums, I will never leave the forums out.
What do you consider your greatest strength? - Understand other users, I find a way to be both funny, yet serious depending on the user. I quickly learn the user's personality and will immediately respond in a way they would like.
What do you consider your greatest weakness? - Forum activity, I still think I could have more posts and I will continue to work on that (expect seeing me at 600 soon ).

How would you handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time? - Depending on what the issue is, I usually warn the user the first time. (Although if they are hacking I would report them on the website and let higher ranks deal with them). Advertising would be an immediate ban from me so I would temp-ban them and then report them on the website.
How would you handle the same person doing it again a second time? - If this continued, I would most likely kick them. I feel kicking a user shows them you are not playing around and they need to stop. Never would I kick someone for something unnecessary and would always make an legit claim to why I did it.
How would you handle that person doing it again for the third time? - Like before, depending on what the issue is I would probably temp-ban them and report them on the website (if the ban needs to be extended).

What is your reaction if someone publicly proves you wrong on the forums? - I learn from this, if someone were to prove me wrong it would only help me get stronger so next time I will have the correct response.
What would you do when someone breaks a rule on the forums? - Players breaking rules on the forums should be warned (we do not do this much I have noticed...). I would alert them of the issue and warn their profile.
When would you lock a thread? - When it is a copy of another thread, when it just has the word "flame war" written all over (Example: A thread about which religion is better). Threads that are inappropriate or spam threads would also be locked. I would also warn users that are making rude threads like those.

Anything else we should know about you? - I know my moderator application just was accepted and I have only had the rank for a month but I really think warz needs some more moderators and I feel like I can fill a spot.
Situation: You think a player is hacking, what would you do? - I would record them and report them on the forums. I would never kick/temp-ban a user for hacking just because I think he is hacking. I would always have legit evidence and report it first!
Do you generally know how all the plugins and commands work? - Yes, I have gotten use to the new kick and ban commands.
Do you realize that if you are disrespectful or abuse your power, your power will be taken away? - Yes, I would never do such a thing, I love being mod and would not want to loose it.

Thanks for the feedback, I kinda made this application just so that I could hear from the community if making another application would be too soon. The real reason I applied so soon is because there are so little mods on warz and I wanted to help out since I enjoy the server so much.
