A new command to decrease lag.

    So, this really does apply to both WarZ and War, but it's way more prominent in War.
    One of the main reasons I don't play War that much anymore is simply because it's too God damned laggy fps wise, and I have a GOOD computer.
    Sure, it's not as good as it used to be, but do I have problem on any other server fps wise? No, not really, at all.

    And i've pin pointed this to one exact problem, because whenever i'm shot, or somewhere near me gets shot, my fps drops like a baby out of a trash chute from an unhappy mother (OH that was so messed up).
    It's the redstone particles that emit from you upon damage, the blood.
    Many have said "t0rn dwn ur prtkls nub" but they're still there, and they still do cause lag, plus, why should all other particles suffer because of one little effect?

    So, I suggest a simply command.
    /blood [on/off]
    Almost every single server i've been on that implements blood, has an option to turn it off, and by that I mean two servers, mcwar being the third and only one without the ability to toggle.

    Simple quick solution to optimize your performance on mcwar, leave your thoughts below on this idea.

    I agree. I have not been playing War as much now, because I am always lagging. And it has not I g to do with my computer, because it runs fine on other servers.

    Even I sorta of lag in fps when there is a lot of blood (redstone) coming out.

    Same here. I am afraid I might have to stop playing on War if the lag continues.

    I don't lag as much when 2 people are having tons of redstone are coming out of them but when like 5 or more people are getting shot by my whole team, it causes my fps to die.

    Simply turn your particles off / minimal. Should resolve some lag issues. Also, get Optifine here if you really want to up your performance.

    Even when turning down your particles, the block break effect will always be there. This is needed. +1

    There are certain commands implemented into the Minecraft game to reduce lag.
    Try this: Shift + F3 + T
    This will reload whatever texture pack you're using, reducing some client lag.

    If the particles can create lag, there should be something to turn it down so yes from me.

    I don't think you can toggle it between individuals...the blood option is in a config file that affects the whole server, so it's either blood or no blood for everyone. I think.

    Currently, that's right. However, with a bit of coding, there can be an option for that. Just update the plugin and such to allow that option.

    I've seen it, and quite honestly I don't believe it's that hard.

    However, if it is indeed hard, it's worth it, because it's total bullsh*t when I can KILL 2 full irons on WarZ easily when I don't have 80 F*CKING particles, it's because they rape my fps and I can't aim for sh*t when i'm watching a slideshow instead of a server.
