Idea Home Elimination

    If a player finds your base and sets a home or warp there you can't really do anything about it after the raid.
    I am suggesting a way to destroy home/warp locations or to delay warping to it.

    The Current Problem:
    • A player can just keep coming back and back to their home after you kill them. This can be a huge nuisance if you are in the middle of raiding them or they keep warping back to your base after you kill them.
    • If you want to reclaim a old base or something less important (farm base, afk spot, etc) the old raider can just constantly coming back. This will vacant a large portion of the map I feel.

    Possible Solutions:
    • Add a cooldown per warps/home. So if you just use a home you can't use it again for X time.
    • Add a cooldown if only you die after warping. So if you die after you warp you can't use it again for X time.
    • Add a way to destroy a player's warp/home. Could be done by paying a certain amount or destroying all the blocks around it.

    This idea sounded pretty bad as I was typing it, but I think if there was a cooldown if you died from PvP after warping (to that certain warp) it could solve the issue pretty well.

    What's everyone's opinions on this?

    This is an excellent idea. Although I hardly play PVP, I still think this is a really good idea.

    I like the idea of a cooldown after dying and a way to destroy a players home.
    What I do is find the player's warp, then place down cobblestone or obsidian to suffocate them if they warp.

    That's why I'm not a fan of the pay to remove a home warp idea.
    If they had to be near it when they deleted it, that would be a possibility.

    And the owner of the home could get the gold they payed to remove it?

    +1 for anchor block. You can pick one that doesn't have a block, which exposes the rest.

    I think paying would be overpowered, but I totally agree with the destroying blocks part since you have to work to find out where the warp is etc. Very creative idea putty!

    I know a pretty much similar server, and they have the easy solution that you get banned for one minute when you die.

    I like this idea very much putteh :grinning: But I can't remember what warps I have.... Maybe /warp list?
    Ew, No, This would make some newbs rage, and when you are trying to get your stuff back you can't because your banned. -.-

    I agree with these two ideas. I believe there should be a one minute default cooldown for warping and a five minute cooldown if you die after warping.
    More Challenging Cooldown: I also think it'd be neat if the cooldown time increased if the player that killed you is within a certain radius of your warping destination.

    Excellent idea. I've had trouble with this problem before while I was in a raiding party and the guy we kept killing just kept punching us while we were looting his chests. I can definitely see this as being a helpful solution.
