How to avoid DDoS

I have seen people getting DDoSed, and in case you don't know what it means, it basically boots of your rooter with spam packages, which can cut down your internet for a long time. Best thing to do is to change your Ip adress if you get DDoSed or replug your rooter. Now, there are dew ways to avoid being DDoSed, and listen to these tips:


-Never add shady people who are hackers (like kcl) on skype, or people which you don't know, nor ever heard of. Skype can give them your ip adress.
If you already have a DDoSer on skype-
delete it to avoid being DDoSed, create a new account and change your Ip adress.

-Never join shady servers owned by Hackers and/or DDoSers, they have Ip adresses of all players, and they sometimes sell them to other players. Even if you see a dude saying: "omg check out mah server I have factions, pvp god armor, join ......", instead of joining the server, report him and get him banned. At the same time, owners can boot you off in a middle of a game. Your net crashes, but your character in mc is still there.
