General Concerns

I just started playing on this server a week ago and I love it. It's an awesome server and no mods are needed whatsoever to play it. However, I have noticed a few problems. My first, and biggest problem, is that guns are way too powerful. I think I am doing a great job at surviving when I reach full iron armor, but come to realize I can be killed just as easily if I had no armor. People with the higher tier weapons can one-shot players through iron armor. It takes me forever to get iron armor, just to get shot and killed instantly. If this is to just resemble how powerful weapons are in real life, it makes the armor completely useless. If you try to travel anywhere up North, away from the noob bandits (powerful players that kill players that just spawned), spawning people, and constant fighting, you will find all of these people that can one shot kill you. My suggestion is to nerf the power of guns.

Second, I think the maps are a bit glitchy. I don't know if it is just me or everybody, but my map never works. The red dot that resembles me is always in the desert. It never moves either. Also, the map doesn't load at all sometimes and is just the default minecraft map (I use the texture pack).

Finally, I find zombies to be over powered. This is the second time I've called something overpowered, so don't get me wrong and think that I want the game to be as easy as possible. But when I get hit by a zombie and bleed and break a leg in the same hit, I think something is wrong. It seems like you either get infected, bleed, or break a leg every 2-3 hits. The zombies also have a faster attack rate than us (thanks to NoCheatPlus or some sort of plugin like that limiting the times you can hit mobs). This means that they can cause special effects on us like bleeding, move faster than us, and attack faster than us. Now you add on 2 or more zombies and it's one giant mess.

Thanks for considering my post and please know that this isn't just some random things I have noticed in game. My brother, friends I have survived with in game, and other players in chat have all noticed the same problems. Thanks again if you read it all,

I realize they should be powerful, but not this powerful? Also, the guns?

 

In reply to Skulduggery, I actually know what I'm doing when I play this game. I get good iron armor, good weapons, then head to Snow. However, as soon as I get there, I am one shot killed. That fact never changes. No matter how much loot I get, if someone has a Barret they will kill me instantly. Also, on the note about the zombies, they were never like that. The server got a small update of some sort and now they can break legs or make you bleed a LOT more.
