Spectator Mode and Better Barriers

    As you all know, people have been craving spectator mode for a while now. But with the new 1.8 snapshots out, I think it might finally be possible.
    In the snapshot, you are able to fly around and even move through solid objects. It also allows you to click on a player and spectate them.
    This would be a fabulous addition in Search and Destroy (If it ever does get added) or for just plain spectating (spectate some MLG Pros!!! XD)
    Mojang is also adding barriers, which will be the solution to those annoying and glitchy invisible iron doors.

    Spectate mode has been suggested many times before, I just don't think that it is necessary. In 2.0 you can join the current game by clicking on the Milk bucket.

    In the War update you can join the game that is going on. So there is no need to spectate.

    I would still enjoy spectating every once in a while, and in hardcore gamemodes like one in, when you die you could spectate the remaining players.

    I really like the idea of spectating. This way it wouldn't cause harm like the spectating glitch. :smile:

    Spectating world certainly be a welcome addition in my book. As for invisible barriers, I can't wait for them!

    This topic has been brought up several times, all staff are aware of it and they will be the ones to discuss it if they ever feel like it can be possible. When it is, I have no doubt they will start working on it immediately.
