Intro BBSlayer5150: My Life, My Story, Myself. (1000th Post)

Hello everyone. I am BBSlayer510. Many of you call me by different names, whether it is BB (what I personally prefer), Slayer, behbeh, slayeh, BB5150, BBS (no idea why people call me this, the S does not go with it), or just BBSlayer5150. My in game name comes from my Xbox Gamer Tag, BB Slayer 5150. BB comes from my in real life nickname. Mainly, my family and a few friends call me this. The slayer comes from the TDM type game mode from the Halo series of games. Halo 3 was the first game I ever got for my Xbox 360, and I was addicted to it. At the time, I played on my dad’s account, but for my birthday I received my own account. Finally, 5150 is a number I favor using for account names. Literally, 5150 is an album by the rock band Van Halen. Also, I believe it can mean someone who is mentally insane in police coding, such as “We got a 5150”. Pick whichever one you want .

I consider myself to be a well-known member of the community, and am proud to say this. I always feel welcome when I join a server, someone recognizes me, and happily greets me. I love this community with all my heart. I truly mean this. Some of my greatest friends in the community are Freakiziod, TBG, and Dark. I could easily expand this list to take up a few lines of text, but I will keep it short :V.

One thing that I am really proud to be a part of is the Stuff conversation. We have over 200 pages, and about 4,200 messages in it. I could not imagine what the forums would be like without it. I am always excited to come home to see what we are talking about next.


Some things about me:

For one, I absolutely LOVE music. Rock is my all time favorite genre of music. MY favorite type of Rock music is classical rock. Other genres that I like are hard rock, soft rock, and metal. My favorite bands are KISS, AC/DC, Van Halen, Boston, Journey, Rush, Iron Maiden, The Who, and Def Leopard to name a few. In my life, I have seen KISS live in concert twice, one time in my hometown, and another time in Toronto, Canada. Music is a very large part of my life. I often like to apply songs to my average daily life.
As a person, I try to be nice to everyone. I never try to hold a grudge on someone on purpose. If someone needs to talk about something personal, or just ask a simple question, I would gladly help him or her in a heartbeat. My goal is to be friendly to everyone I meet, and help them in anyway I can.


How I discovered the server:

Well, I might as well start from the beginning. I purchased minecraft in 2012, sometime around July if I am correct. Skip ahead, I played a few well-known servers, but never really talked in chat or became involved with a community. I then found a great PVP server, and began to open up. I became quit good at the server, and slowly made a name for myself. Unfortunately, my old really good mouse broke, so we got a smart mouse. If any of you have ever seen one or played minecraft with it, scrolling it horrendous. I had to quit that server because I could not scroll, and I did not have the number positions on the keyboard memorized. Fast forward to March 11, 2013. Now, I was really addicted to YouTube at the time, so I watched every video of like 20 you tuber’s a day, one of which was SlyFoxHound. He posted a video showcasing the MC-War servers. I, being a fanatic of Call of Duty, thought the server was a genius idea. I entered the IP address, and was amazed at the plugins and mechanics being used. I could not believe that all this was coded into Vanilla minecraft, without the need for a mod. Now, I am one of those people who actually read everything on how to play, and not someone who spams chat with questions. Still, I was a noob to the server, and needed help. _The_Ender_Boss_ was one of the friendliest players on server 1, and he taught me all I needed to know. To this day, I cannot thank him enough for getting me involved. He is a fantastic mod, and I wish to get to know him a lot better.
Now, I will get into the big part of my story. This will explain how I became active in game, and how I wanted to join the community. I did not play minecraft often at the time. I would play for about an hour or so every few days. I did this because I mainly played my Xbox 360, specifically CoD: BO2, Halo 4, and a few other games (all of this mainly happened early into summer break). I played online with three of my best friends from school. We talked about anything and everything. There were so many great experiences we shared. I trusted them 100%. I will not say what exactly happened, but they betrayed me, and left me for dead, alone. The one time I needed them to be with me the most, they did not care. I lost all three of them. I felt terrible on the inside for a long time, and ignored everything in my life. I grew up with these guys, and not being with them did not seem natural. I refused to play my Xbox, as it just brought back bad memories. Then it hit me like a train, minecraft, specifically mc-war. I played every day on server one, and quickly rose through the ranks. I eventually hit level 31, and joined FLUX one minute after I hit this milestone. I made some of the greatest friends in the process, including. Through mc-war, I finally got my life back. I felt so confident in life from that point on. Luckily, I started talking to my greatest friend from the group, and we repaired our relationship. To this day, we still are great friends and always talk to each other, aside from us going to different high schools.

I played even more MC-War from then on, and became better every day. Something that is humorous to me is that I have never donated for the server. If I could, I gladly would. Some things prevent me from donating. In game, I have the LAW, the minigun, the crossbow, and scavenger. I also had MVP for MC-War and WarZ for a month, but that expired some time ago. Anyway, I might as well state what clans I was apart of. In order, I have been in: XULF/Tots, HACK, FLUX, TRA, 31+, and currently FE4R. I will be joining Feyz, but I would like to give my clan to someone, and I have been meaning to find him (*ahem AlienPiggy). You can for the most part find me on server 1, but every once in a while I hop from server to server. I am not the biggest WarZ player, as I rarely play it. If I do go on one of the servers, I will mostly be playing with some of my friends. I do play MC-Party from time to time also. It really does not matter what server I play on for Party. I do not play too much PvP anymore, because my team does not really play it anymore. So mainly, I am a MC-War player at heart. In general, the only time I ever go on other networks are when MCBrawl is down, and I always check every few minutes to see if it is back up. I love these servers and the community. I have never felt so welcome before. I am here to stay for a long time.

Special:

I hinted at this on my profile page, but I decided to make something for my Intro to let it stand out. As stated before, I love the Call of Duty games. So, I decided to record two gameplays. Below, you will find two links that will go to my SkyDrive. These links contain game footage of CoD: Ghosts, taken from my Game DVR on Xbox: One. You may say, “Why are the clips so short?” Well, that is the thing. I would have loved to record a Domination match or something longer, but I can only record five minutes of continuous gameplay. So, I needed to play a game that would last short, but still be entertaining in the process. I chose the ganemode Cranked, and one game of GunGame. I did pretty well in the Cranked match, but it was not my best game ever. I believe I could do better, but I did not want to delay this Intro any longer. For the GunGame match, I know I did will. It was a pretty good game, and I enjoyed it. I would also like to make a small side note. To you, the quality of the video might not be the greatest. This is because the GameDVR reduces some of the quality of the footage, and the rendering also reduces more quality. I can assure you that on my screen, the quality is a lot better. I could not do anything sadly. So, without further ado, I hope you enjoy!

So as the title says, this is my 1,000th post. I have not posted in a few days, and went through heavy withdrawals. I wanted to post on some threads so much, but I resisted the temptation. The video took me about 3 or so days to get, as I wanted a decent game. Also, I had to figure out how to record, upload, and get it to you all.
The text took me about 3 days also. I started Saturday and just made a small draft. Sunday, I really got into adding details. Today, I mainly added more details, got all my links together, revised, and edited the entire thing.
I like interesting stories too :V

No. I have actually been called that in game before. My one friend thought it meant BaseBallSlayer. I just shook my head, and put it into the palm of my hand. I will have been called worse for BB. Makes me laugh on the people who try to bring me down by inserting words for the BB.

 

B comes from my in real life name anyway, might as well state that :V. Ever since I was little my family has called me that, or something around it. My cousin says it the most. He has called me my real name I think only once in 5 years. :V
