After the EST's fight with Axez just a few hours ago, I've noticed a large disconnect between my clan and theres. The main reason why we won that fight is that most of the EST know how to fight in a clan battle (my veteran players have been doing it for the past three months). This guide will hopefully improve your TDM,CTF, and overall fighting prowess/awareness. The guide will have: situational tips, what guns to use for certain missions, class tips, different fighting styles, and some thing I want you to check out

    Agressive situations
As always in my guides, I will be starting out with the aggressive side of things. This is to be employed when the enemy(clan or otherwise) is pushed back, and you are in a situation to lock them down. The usual attitude of this situation makes it difficult to hold your clan together(if your the leader) due to the excitement by the winning clan and the desperation of the losing clan.

Class to use in an aggressive situation: automatic
This is because of it's versatility and ability to push back enemies by simply firing near them. Think about it. What is more intimidating? A close range shotgun that has to get close to your spawn to take a shot, a sniper who can kill you quickly but can't provide covering fire and is therefore not intimidating, or someone who can literally spray down a pushing group and kill them all in seconds? The automatic is good for this situation also because it can help you get out of there when you get pushed away (which always happens, no matter how strong the pushing clan is, spawn invincibility will win over skill)

Class not to uses while in an aggressive situation: shotgun
For the love of god do not be that guy who rushes a group of invincible players and dies in half a second, your only giving the other team points. The close range effectiveness of the shotguns are broken more and more as you get closer to the enemy's spawn. This is because the shotgun is not for engaging multiple forces at once, its supposed to jump in, shoot someone at point blank, and run away. Use your pistol while using the shotgun for offense please.

Guns to use/guns that shine while in an aggressive state:
Snipers: Msr, Dragonv, Disassembler, l120_Isolator (fast firing to pick off a push quickly)
Autos: any (there job is to pin the enemy, any auto will do)
    Shotguns(if you must): aa12, Spas-24, model

Standard tactic for personal survival: The most basic way to stay alive in this situation is camping. Like I've said before, once you push the enemy back a certain distance they will be invincible from coming out of there spawn and kill you with there bullet proof skin. Therefore, to prevent a push by the other team, hide until someone that you have marked to kill is suspected of not being invincible any more and kill them. remember to quickly hide again because players are ridiculously paranoid while in a defensive situation

Team tactic for aggressive combat: Always stay with at least one other person (with an exception) so that you can protect his/her back while he/she does the same. Remember, there is always the possibility of being flanked, and if you read my sniping guide you would know how effective a flanking sniper is. Watch your team's back or you will lose very quickly.

    Center Battle Situations
When the fight has begun, or is in mid game and a counter push has been successful, the war with rage into the center of the map. Classes individual roles and player's talent shine or rust here. The golden rule of this point in the game is to Let your snipers do there jobs. Good snipers can save the team at this point by cleanly finishing players before they can react and counterattack. Therefore keeping the overall heath percentage of your team higher and giving you a point without a firefight. If you see a sniper taking shots at someone, don't take shots at the same player, All this does is allow the enemy to know were you are, snipers are assassins not tanks, if the enemy fires on them they can't fire back in time to save there own skins.

class to use in a center battle: Sniper
As stated earlier, if a sniper can cleanly headshot someone, there is no firefight and your team gets a clean point(a non contested point)

Class not to use in a center battle: automatic
I only put this here because the automatic users tend to forget there place. Automatics are support players, keeping the two most important classes(sniper and shotgun) alive via there amazing versatility. Never kill steal intentionally on a center battle all this will do is keep your shotgun/sniper players from building there precious kill streak, the EMP, which can save your team in the late game.

Guns to use/guns that shine in a center battle:
    Snipers: l118a, Barret50c, msr, disassembler, l120_Isolator
    Automatics: ak-47, m4a1, lemeligtion, skullcrusher
    Shotguns:Moddel, Spas-12, Spas-24, Typhoid

Standard tactic for personal survival: The most basic way to survive in a center battle is never to underestimate your opponent, in fact, overestimate them. That way you stay with your team and fight as a unit. Never, under any circumstances, do you rush without the "go ahead" by a veteran player. If you see a known veteran player rushing, then follow him/her, and trust that they know what there doing. Otherwise, stay back, you don't want to killfeed your enemy, you might as well be throwing away the game to the other team.

Standard tactic for team survival: Teams tend to spit off in general, but always in a center battle everyone tends to just scatter. Always stay together with at best five people. Try to do organized breaches and secure rooms before proceeding. Always have at least one sniper and one "heavy" automatic (skullcrusher, leman, famas) with you to prevent being mowed down by a stronger team

    Defensive situations
The hour is desperate, your team scattered, explosions everywhere. This is a defensive war. This is when clan leaders and high ranking players truly shine. You need to rally your troops, stand your ground, and push out before the enemy completely destroys your bedraggled team. The golden rule of this situation is to flank. This is not something that the enemy usually looks out for and is, therefore, the best way to take down a strong push. Also. Remember to use the large amount of cover that the spawn areas provide. Example: Highrise_tdm, Each spawn gets a whole building to fight in, use it.

Class to use in defensive situations:Shotguns
Although the most hated/unloved class, this is what the shotgun was designed for. All shotguns can oneshot while inside of a five block radius, and should be used this way

Class not to use while in a defensive situation: Snipers
Although my personal favorite, I can understand that the sniper class is not designed for this...at all...
Don't be some epic sniper pro and rush the enemy. Trust me when I say that I've only seen me pull it off and even then I succeed at pushing the enemy back about 1/50 attempts, So don't do it.

Guns to use/guns that shine in a defensive situation:
Snipers: MSR, Dragonv, Barret50c, l120_Isolator, Dissembler
Automatics: any (support those shotgun users!)
Shotguns: any (this is your moment to shine shotguns!)

Standard tactic for personal survival: Always use those large covers to keep yourself alive and the enemy few. Never engage a group of enemies more then 4 people strong, even if you have the drop on them they will still kill you before you can kill all of them.

Standard tactic for team survival: Always make sure that you remember to stick together and to find your leader. Push out only when you've weakened the enemy push and always use that spawning invincibility!

I hope that you've found this useful! Feedback is appreciated as always. I will be making a dedicated clan guide in the future, stay tuned you clan leaders.

Please check this story out as well. I want to know if I should write more into the titan saga(remember that this is a prototype story and that the real deal will be more dynamic) https://www.brawl.com/threads/10346/

So much strategy, it's like Battlefield v:
    Nice guide, keep it up!
Unfortunately, not many people will use these strategies unless they figure it out on their own/they read this :l
