Hello everyone, I have been thinking about the newly instituted moderator application changes and have come up with this idea.

I think that McBrawl should create a special forums group that has the permissions to reply to staff applications. This group will be made up of people who give very helpful and constructive feedback to the people applying.

Moderators have a lot to worry about and are not all able to review staff applications. I think if we chose the right people, this would allow the people applying to get more feedback on their applications.

    The group could be called
    • Reviewer
    • Review Panel
    • Staff App Reviewer
    • App Revier
    • Application Panel
In order to find people for this group, maybe the staff could hang pick the members based on maturity, and helpfulness? Im not sure..

What are your ideas on this guys?

I like the idea of having only tactful and helpful people judging mod apps. However, having an application process for judging mod apps seems a bit awkward (and ironic :V). Maybe you could only join the group if you were personally selected by a mod or admin and invited.

I think that some of the senior members of the forums are in the right to review mod applications

You make a good point. I will edit the post with your idea of having the members hand picked by Mods or Admins. Thanks for the feedback.

I was actually thinking about posting this thread a couple of hours ago. Yes, I do like this idea because I would love to be able to judge applications again.

The group name should be called the special ops :V haha idk but I think the trusted of trusted moderators are the ones that choose these players who get access to this, or Super-Mod+.

Idk I was just thinking of a name, because they're special players who are able to review staff applications and I was thinking of mc-war which is CoD, then I thought of Black ops.

People who know what they do, and they probably are notable members.

And I think these chosen players should go through a training, or ''Orientation' so they know what to do and what not to do.

I don't think that would be really needed. Anyone on the notable members page for most messages probably has been reviewing a lot of apps for a while now, so we all pretty much got experience on how to rate an app correctly. But if there does come to a point where suddenly an unknown member makes the top posters list, than maybe that member alone should get the training, or orientation on what and what not to do.

    @Xx_Invader42_xX @F1r3tar

I don't think we should only chose people from the notable members list, having a lot of posts dose not mean you are good at reviewing applications.

Maybe there could be a format that moderators and players would have to follow upon review applications.. Should I make another suggestion post about this said format?

We have a ton of people who are good a rating apps, however, we also have a ton of people who are bad at rating apps.

Yea, like they just say oh you did bad and doesn't state the reason or anything and just say strait up no. They should know how to be kind, respectful and know how to rate correctly.
