    So i notice a lot of people calling someone a hacker every time they die and that annoys me, so i decided to make this guide to help everyone know what's hacks and what's not, and how to properly deal with the situation.

    Possible hacks:

    Advanced Fly hacks, spider hacks etc: This is probably one of the only used hack by hackers since it's one of the only ones that can give them advantage on mc-war. We still have a anti cheat plugin, but i've seen some players fly around. When reporting a fly hacker i would highly suggest recording it so the staff can see them fly. A screenshot might just be someone falling from a building or getting launched up by recoil.

    Killaura: This kills all enemies within their radius and this one is extremely obvious. I would also suggest recording this.
    These are pretty much the only known functional hacks on this server. It can happen that a player has a custom made client with his/her own hacks, so everything is possible.

    Impossible hacks:
    Damage hacks: This is impossible since the guns are a server side plugin with a set number of damage, a client can't modify a servers plugins.

    Aimbot: The guns in mcwar uses: Snowballs (Bullet guns) Wither heads (LAW) And redstone particles
    (Ray-Gun) There is no such things as snowball aimbot, unless they have a custom client once again.

    Health hacks: These hacks do not exist since you cannot modify a player entity. This would be like removing all blocks from your mc client and trying to connect to a server.

    Gun hacks/item hacks: I also see some players saying something like "That guy got that item without donating!!" It's impossible to modify the servers player files through a client, adding certain items.

    These are the ones i usually see every day, now i will explain how to properly deal with a hacker without annoying the community.

    It usually takes a while until a hacker is banned, so in the meantime i would highly suggest bringing on a moderator to watch that player very closely. I hope this helped you!

    1. I hacked on single player in 1.2.5, the hack "Health Hacks" do exist but not to good. Idk if the hack creators fixed this in that time but still it did exist in the past. And for clarification I haven't hacked since early 1.2.5, I hate it.

    I dont think this is 100% accurate...
    Aimbots cant control projectile paths, they basically make your reticule (the crosshairs in the center of your screen) "hover" or "stick" to your target, so it is easier to aim at them. Therefore, aimbots are totally possible, and are not affected by the projectile type.
    Health and damage hacks are totally possible. This is because hacks can modify packets and scripts sent between the client and the server, so you don't have to necessarily modify the player entity itself. Think of it as "lying" to the server, and the server believes you.

    This is a fairly good guide. I suggest Bold sprint the sub-headings and headings to make it more organized, and hyperlinking the reporting form.

    They don't need an account, they can look as a guest, but they won't reply or anything.

    They still have Regen hacks, and I think some of the good ones do work.

    And nice guide.
    Although, if this were to be a sticky or something so look at seriously, you should change the title, because it appears a bit immature :stuck_out_tongue:

    I think you should add this to the aimbot section.

    The way an aimbot client works is that you can't miss a single hit if you're swinging a sword. While contrary to popular belief by the name of the client, this hack only affects the Melee weapon, not projectiles. I think aimbot can actually work on Mc-War if the user is using aimbot with the knife/superknife.

    P.S. Don't forget about Autobow. That's a hack client that might be possible to use since we have the C-Bow.

    I named it that because i want to decrease the number of immature rage posts on the servers, and regen hacks is something different, what i meant is hacks that increase your hitpoints making you survive a iso shot etc.

    Another thing:if you see speed particles from an player he does not speed hacking, he uses the perk called speed.

    Lol, the aimbot users are way more obvious than any hacks, I caught this one guy using it. I knew he was because his player's head was spinning around as his teammates ran by. XD . Big mistake turning on his aimbot when 2 mods were on his team. XD .

    I've only seen one aimbot case on mcwar a player was using l188a and was spamming at our spawn one shoting us, I even got a screenshot of him saying he hacks.
