WarZ Moderators; Take 2

Technically there are only 2 real WarZ Moderators in the screenshot provided. @Scoat2 and @Cbsusd are not real WarZ Moderators, Putty promoted every Moderator (except for Trial Moderators) to WarZ Moderator for the next two weeks. This is to help cover for the surge of players that will be playing the new map. Putty also stated that they don't actual have to do their job, they just have the permissions if they have to. So there was technically on two real WarZ Moderators online.

 

Yes, this is too much. I expect Putty gave all you moderators WarZ mod not for the MVP so you could all play together, but to actually moderate the servers. And I think 4 moderators all playing together for a long period of time, is not good moderating. And yes I know, when I was moderator, I sometimes teamed with @Mrcowlick or @gamemaster800 but never for very long.

Can we please have a maximum of 2 WarZ staff per server?

Edit: Reading Signatured's post I am a bit dismayed that Putty said 'they don't actually have to do their job'. Are they moderators or not?

He obviously would not do that, I can assure you know that the WarZ servers will go into overtime during the release of the new map for around the next 2 weeks, until it calms.
That's the reasoning behind it.

 

It doesn't matter if they are real mods or not, a pink tag is enough to shut most people up.

I'm saying that the mods should branch out because isn't that why Putty gave them the job? To moderate? Not just to play the game with their new free MVP?

We can moderate, as I will, but we don't even have to go on the server at all.

 

Most likely, because when I was mod, I was tormented daily. But that's part of the job, 9/10 of the community calls you an abuser, but that 1/10 who appreciates your work, claps you on the back when you get a hacker banned, that's why you want to be WarZ mod.

Yes but what I want to know is why did Putty promote a dozen WarZ mods who won't even go on the servers and when they do, probably won't moderate, when he had 3 people who could've done a good job (@bob8is8cool , @ehvahn and @LuckyPop).

And it's nothing against these staff members, but they probably don't know that much about WarZ, correct?
And I know if I asked a staff member a relatively simple question and they didn't answer it or didn't know, I'd be kind of annoyed at the incompetence of WarZ staff.

 

Well we need mods for WarZ so we need as much help form the other mods as we can get

Beat me to it... I was going to make another post about staff when I got home.

It's sad when you see four moderators on one server. Instead of having 4 moderators on 40% of our servers, we have 4 moderators on 10% of our servers. No more than two moderators should be on a server. While moderators want the play the game too, they shouldn't be interfering with their job.

So instead of promoting @ehvahn, who will most likely be on 24/7 to play on the new map, we promote existing staff members? They probably won't be active or helpful!

Are you saying our staff members don't have to be active ingame?! This server is based off of minecraft. If our staff members aren't even on the actual base server, how are they going to be helpful? At times I find some people that apply more helpful that our staff members, simply because they play a lot more so when someone is in need they can help.

^^^^ why are you ranting. Putty clearly didn't think they were right for the job. Since you've been rejected you've just been ranting it feels like ........ @bob8is8cool

 

The reason we have mod on WarZ is to help with the new map. We don't need to help at all, as it is optional.

 

I also saw 4-5 mods on server #1. I agree, they need to be more spread out.

 

So basically were giving staff members free MVP just to help people out if they want? Whereas other players are completely dedicated and deserve the rank that existing staff are given optionally?

I haven't commented about my application once! I rant because we have dedicated players like ehvahn who get denied. Then we allow our current staff members to get WarZ mod if they want it. However, if you aren't upset at least a little by the fact you got denied, you shouldn't be staff. You should want staff and give your everything for it. I rant because I want the server to be a better place and it won't be by switching staff around.

 

Geez... Guys! Staff people have a life and friends too! Look at what you're saying. You guys basicly say that the mods aren't allowed to Play with other mods that might even be their friends, instead of that they have to FORCED to Play on one server! Really? They have friends too and they want to Play with them just as Much as you guys want to Play with your own friends.
Look at yourself. Aren't you playing with friends too? Well why don't you guys let them do that too? They are friends guys, they wanna Play together too. And with friends they are more exciting to do their "work". Would you be motivated if you were forced to Play on one server without any of your other mod friends to come online and chill a little bit with you?
Really!? What is going to be the next thing? That they aren't allowed to talk with normal people because they would distract them? Seriously?

They are hindering their ability to moderate when they are all on one server. They can be covering a lot more people, helping more people, and all around looking friendlier. I think they should be able to team, but not 4 of them on the same server!
