This is actually very sad. The people who provoked him are jerks and should feel awful.

 

This is awful. I feel sorry for him constantly being targeted and spammed.
I know that if the same were to happen to me I would probably turn into the same person.

 

My god... I never knew this can happen to some people... the truth has been told what some people are like. I'm really sorry @devin1qaz11. I never knew this happened to you, the fact that people have been doing this just to piss you off is just stupid. Why must we see our friends get hurt in these ways... why... I feel terrible now, if I were in your shoes, I would be the same way. Really sorry to see you like this Devin. What has the community fell into... calling others rude names just to feel better about themselves and causing them to leave? Is this what our community has become?
Devin, if you need somebody to talk to, call me, I understand how you feel...

You have no idea what it's like to have a short temper in this community. EVERYONE that you thought were your friends, turn on you, and you get bullied constantly.

 

As several people know, I have a short temper... But as it started to cause problems, I decided that I couldn't play with the labels people applied and the hate... So i stopped raging (I know it is not and WAS not easy to stop)...
I feel terrible that this is happening to people.

This is very disappointing...

Sadly this game is populated for the 3/4 of less than 10 year old kids which really disgusts me, the multiplayer is not for them. They make the older players lives a living hell with their provocation and insults.
Well I'll tell you something: I'mshort tempered too, like if I miss an attack on CoC 3 times I'm pretty pissed off and start hitting my couch. I use to get made for sport at school, I took it so seriously that is was horrible playing with me basketball as such. Altough I'm still playing tennis and very much enjoy it even though I did get pissed off sometimes.
In fact I get angry a lot because I put a lot of pressure on myself, it might be the same for you. You should see minecraft in another way, it's just a game people used to tell me, well this is the same. You know how the community works so might as well like them, for instance when I kill someone on the pvp survival server I get a lot of time insulted so I just go: " Lol " , simple as that although sometimes I got extremely pissed off by some 5 year old kid.
The day Define_Egnima left the server he gave me some good stuff including 4 stacks of iron, unfortunately I only managed to get 3 because a literal noob snatched it. I was pretty much pissed off so I told him to have the stack to me, I tried tricking him, then I tried leading him out of the spawn protection zone by trading diamonds but I just disconnected because I had enough of arguing and I didn't have the time for this.

What the ****. Are you kidding me? I knew that the community in this server was horrible, but this? Purposely trying to make someone quit by insulting them, teasing them, targeting them, ddosing them, and everything else that they did to devin? That's absolute malice. And now devin might do it. He might quit McBrawl because of the low lives out there that are giving him a horrible time playing a game, over, well, a game. This, is ****ing stupid. I'm sick and tired of the idiots in this community giving my friends a hard time. Friends that were hacked, forced into hiding/outro, ddosed over a game, such as:

And I might be too. I was just on Teamspeak the other day, and somebody joined my channel. I didn't know who it was, because where his name should be was a bunch of random markings. He told me that he worked "undercover" for McBrawl and I was caught hacking. He said I'd be banned, but I didn't care what he was saying, because I knew I didn't hack. I didn't respond until he said "have you ever been ddosed before?". I said "No", and then he said something along the lines of "well that's about to change". I haven't been on Teamspeak in a while because of that incident.

And just yesterday people in the chat box were talking about how there was someone on teamspeak saying he would ddos the forums, and he counted down from 10. The forums wouldn't go back up for some reason, and putty said that it was because "there were too many chickens joining the forums, sorry". I don't think that was the case.

This server used to have a great and nice community that didn't insult somebody every 5 seconds. I am trying to get that to stop, but honestly, I don't know if it can be stopped unless the staff takes drastic action. I have been in this community for what, 2 or 3 years now? Never in my time here have I heard or seen ANYBODY do something THIS bad to somebody. And that's saying something.

I might leave McBrawl too, just because of this horrifying community. If I do leave, the only way I'd ever come back to this place of malice was if the community and everything else was fixed.

I'm done, and I haven't seen any of the staff do anything about it so far. Sure, there are the moderators that moderate the McWar servers, but not all of them. There are 12 McWar servers, and I only see mods on servers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Occasionally on 7 or 9, but that's mostly where I see them. Also, what about WarZ? It was a "good" idea to make all of the mods WarZ mods as well, but that leaves them two servers to moderate, when on almost every server out there, there are rule-breakers. Ragers. Hackers. Ddosers. Spammers. And a whole crap-load of idiots. We need to do something about this.

Even on MinecraftParty. There are people who use all caps whenever they lose a match. Spammers as well.

My point is, it's not just McWar or WarZ. It's every single McBrawl server.

I'm sorry to have made you feel upset, but imagine how I felt? You cussed me out for killing you... I like you, you're a nice guy, don't quit. We all have our ups and downs, and because 1 or 2 things goes wrong, doesn't mean you should quit. Being in TaeKwonDo for almost 8 years, we have a saying, "Winners never Quit, Quitters never Win." Take a minute and think deeply about all of this. Once more I am sorry to have upset you, but put yourself in my place. I was just playing the game, and you happen to be the person I killed... Take it from me, I have had bad past experiences, but I am still playing the game. Please do not quit the server, and think before you speak.

 

You were not the one that made me upset at all.. I get bullied by other members becasue they know i rage. I get spammed and targeted becasue they know they can take advantage of me. I am very depressed because of this.

 

Let me give you some good advice. /War Chat or disable chat in the Multiplayer options. Now if you'd prefer not to to that, try this. You wouldn't believe how many times I'd be "Targetted" (I don't refer to it as that) and lost countless good KillStreaks. I've lost at least 100+ 20KS. When you die, or get ticked off. Pause for a moment, and take a deep breath. Calm down for a second, and pretend the match just started or nothing happened.

 

Sadly, this doesn't work. Even with chat off, people can still:

• DDoS
  
• Target
• Shotblock

 

Where to start, hmm. Ah, here we go...

• DDoS DDoS can be a problem. I myself have been DDoSsed once before (Not fro McBrawl) Though you have to do something to aggravate the person to DDoS you... If you know or suspect they may have DDoS software, don't even bother talking to them, or leave ASAP.

• Target Targetting is part of the game. For example, the other day when we had our "incident" I went on a lookout for you. I didn't want you to NUKE (sorry :V) so I had to stop you. It's part of the game and will never go away...

• ShotBlock Yea, I hate it too. All you really have to do is maneuver around them, or change position, and if anything, just jump and shoot above their heads.

These are all annoying, but you have to find a way around them.

Doesn't help that much because when I was a mod no-one listened to me.

How much I agree with this is unbelievable, you'd think a huge amazing server like McBrawl would run perfectly, which it does, it's just the community that destroys this.
