Idea Players Call out for an Arena

A small change is wanting to be made in the land of PvP Survival. Players are calling out for an intense arena to be made for usage and fun. The "running out of spawn over and over" is just not cutting it for some players. Old players along with new players are wishing for a spark and some spice to be placed on the server. An arena would be a shilling victory for the large quantity of people who desire for one.
Right from the start of asking people, it became apparent that a PvP arena was strongly wanted. An immense amount of 33 out of 34 (97%) of randoms who had little to lots of experience with the server were in favor of an arena. The few people asked in favor of the arena were cuddlemonster09, Parkman1221, megaredkiller, IDuckOnQuack, SilverR11, AxellG, Fluttershy6666, cBeeaR, SoleGunner, awesomegabriel, 9Vikings9, myadoesminecraft, Timg3661, Xx_Frost_Byte_xX, Cactus2388, ANTHONYSTAMPS, Jimogwa, zoey07, 1ashley12, MCNexus9122, candyfloss326, snimka, marcel18167, EngGma_JG, <zoo-missingname>, Dindrel, legit11, MrWaffleman, IBK_Moon, power_star_64, Define_Enigma, bassmaster6, and ZapCrusher. The one person against the implementation of an arena was TheDeztruzs.
What would make someone against the addition of an arena? "No, spawn is nice for pvp" is what TheDeztruzs said right before being kicked from the server. But people argue saying "It's boring with just having one PvP option" (cBeeaR). Having an arena with your enemy/enemies staring face to face with you as your peers watch your fate is a way to get anyone's adrenaline going.
An arena would set out a whole new realm of excitement for the PvP Survival server. "It'd be a beneficial change to the server. It'd open up more doors to PvP" (SilverR11). Players could go old school and roll the dice outside of PvP's spawn where there's a chance of fighting off Groupers, Loot-scoopers, and Hitchers jumping in a fight. With an arena implemented, players could also have the option to go hands down and strive and fight their way to victory. There would be no chance of running or hiding. Fight or die would be the only options.
The PvP Survival is well known for the large amount of full armored players awkwardly starring at each other (cuddlemonster09, IBK_Moon, Tim3661, and SilverR11 strongly agreed with me on this one). Having an arena could reduce the amount of armored people standing at spawn and higher the chances of a brawl starting (since 10+ armored people wouldn't be attacking at once). Often times if the powder keg does explode, the winner runs off with tons of loot. Seconds after, if not immediately, hacks are called and Mods are left dealing with disappointed and enraged players. Having an arena could reduce this problem by limiting the amount of PvPers and having peers watch them to witness possible hacks. Hack users would also be intimidated by the peers and may be forced to stop hacking during fights.
Many people want a new experience, a new twist with PvP Survival. "PvP survival seems to be more about waiting for a fight" (IBK_Moon). When fights don't ignite players go back to tracking, farming, and basic survival takes place. "It'd make people want to fight more. It's not just called survival. It's PvP" (cuddlemonster09). An arena could kick start the PvP urge inside of every player and draw in more players to the server.
The list could go on and on about the positive outcomes of an arena. But all in all, how would it work? A player could simply type /arena to qualify for a match. If he/she is one of the first ones to type it after a match ends, they may enter it when the time begins. An arena (such as anything else) would have to be experimented with to meet it's final stage. 1-10 minute cool downs for using the arena would probably be good for players that have just gotten done using it (to avoid spam users). Maybe a small amount of time could be given to the winning player at the end to collect the loot since that's what most victorious players do. A timer telling the entered players how long they have until the match would start could be a great feature so they could get their potions, soups, and armor situated before an intense battle.
Overall an arena would be a tremendously good add on to PvP Survival. It'd give a whole new factor and make PvP come into play more often. It'd eliminate some of the awkward stares at spawn and spark the powder keg fights that wait to explode. Mods wouldn't have to fight with people accusing of hacks because bystanders would have full eyes on the contenders. An adrenaline, heart pumping arena would be astonishing for McBrawl's PvP Survival.

I really don't mind if IBK's and I arena is/isn't used. The main goal here is to have an arena for the McBrawler's PvP Survival players to enjoy. Hopefully this happens. I'm speaking out for the 97% of you who are wanting this to work out! Fingers crossed for the future here.

That'd be a great idea. There could be competitions, fighter bidding, cockfight style bidding, flame war settlements, and possibly even rankings. The area could add endless amounts of activity and challenge to the server. All in all, it'd be nice to have even the simplest /arena command for a simple 1v1 or 1v1v1v1.
