    All of the guides really focus on how to get good, and how to use weapons well.
    This guide is slightly different. This time, I'll cover how to become liked and respected. This can also help you to become a better player skill-wise.

    Please, suggest anything extra that I may have missed.

    • Don't use a small variety of weapons, limited to OP options. If you repeatedly use weapons like the Skullcrusher, minigun, crossbow, and Ray Gun, you'll be looked down on as a typical tryhard who has to use OP weapons to have good stats. Try out new weapons. Some are actually really good.
    • Don't get pissed at a person using weapon if they kill you with it (repeatedly). Calling out "iso noob" or similar is seen by many as raging, and the word "noob" was even censored because so many people said it. Rather, you should find alternate ways to kill them. If you can't, use the exact weapon they're using, and find out how they do so well with it and how people counter it.
      Also remember, just because you died in 1 hit from a non shotgun doesn't mean you were killed by the Isolator. Several weapons can kill in 1 shot (with a headshot) at range. These are all sniper rifles and the Python. Additionally, the Skullcrusher kills so fast with headshots that it is often seen as a 1 shot kill.
    • Don't get involved with malicious activities or break rules. This is a no brainer. Many War players who were respected dropped to pathetic levels after continuously glitching, breaking rules, getting involved in malicious activities, etc.
    • Encourage people to not rage. People don't like rage on War. So why not encourage people to not rage? Tell them to chill out or something.
    • Don't rage in chat. Rage in chat, and I promise that your reputation will get totally destroyed. You'll be known as the annoying guy who rages. So don't rage at all in chat. Remember that it is only a game and that you don't need to get pissed about it in the chat. If you can't help raging, do it IRL.
    • Use lower tiered weapons. If you do well with these weapons, taking out people with more OP weapons, people will respect you for your skill. You can even get better at the game. This leads into the next bullet point, below.
    • Play (mostly) for fun, not for stats. Don't be a tryhard. Tryhards are annoying, most of the time. Even if you want good stats, you should play for fun. This expands your view of the weapons in MC-War, and can help you to get better. (see above bullet point)
      You can get good stats while having fun, but the number 1 thing is to have fun, not to be the best. There's almost no chance of you being the best, so you may as well play for fun and be known both as a good and a kind player.
    • Stay calm and say the right things. There are always those moments in chat when people are assholes. But you have to deal with it the right way, Be respectful in arguments (aka don't insult said person's family even if you don't know them, don't be racist, etc.) as well.
      Try to encourage people not to rage, and of course, be the better man and don't escalate arguments into flame wars. Just end it then and there. (unless you're mlg 1337 rekter, then you can rekt them lel)
      Also, don't scream eZ or rekt after you kill someone, just stay silent. :v
    • Get involved on the forums. The forums is usually the place where many people mature a lot. If you become involved and mature on the forums, this translates to ingame. Plus, you can be more well known.

    When you said "Encourage people to not rage", I do this but then they say "You're not a mod. So this doesn't really help.
    But, this is very informative, true, and well-written.

    Very nice guide! I always like it whenever I see players acting like this, especially since the overall reputation of the community has gone downhill. What about showing good sportsmanship such as in an intense 1v1 you could say "gg", but of course not be cocky and say "gg ez".

    Great job Brawler. These guide lines are simple, yet effective. I remember in my first few months, I was silent. However once I got the involved with the forums, I am a lot more active in trying to keep the community clean as possible via defusing arguments in chat and pm a player who is being racist and rude to people. Do what Brawler says and you will be a great member to this community.

    Don't get pissed at a person using weapon if they kill you with it (repeatedly) Stopped a while ago as it was childish and I realized that.
    Don't get involved with malicious activities or break rules Stopped rule breaking, Idk why I started. I'm not a rule breaker.
    Encourage people to not rage Been doing that.

    Use lower tiered weapons As I said I challenge myself sometimes.
    Play (mostly) for fun, not for stats Always been me.
    Stay calm and say the right things Usually me, If I do say something wrong, I'm having an off day.
    Get involved on the forums Forums has gave me a lot of information about upcoming things and what to expect in game.
    I believe I'm respected fairly well.

    What if I'm the best minigun user? I mean I always get nukes and stuff alot. I have like a 9.53 KDR. Are you saying I have to use M16 now? That's stupid.
