Mc-War CLIENT Tips & Tricks

    MCWAR CLIENT TIPS & TRICKS

    Hey guys davidisacoolguy here.. And recently I installed the MCWAR client version 2.0..
    I love it.. I have had it before.. but Now I absolute adore it.. Its really just great.. I have had it before..
    But that was an older version and not so good as the new version.. I just literally
    1. Installed the client
    2. Used ISO in war song
    3. Got a double nuke..
    This made me 10% better than I ever was before.. Now I can easily quickscope with the neeww sexy scope!!
    Its a really great client and I recommend getting it if you haven't already..
    Here are some tip's and tricks I gathered for the MCWAR client.

    1. If you are lagging turn of ''Hip Fire textures'' I have a decent PC so I don't need to turn of hip fire texture's but it does really increase FPS..
    2. Turn of all additional GUI that the mcwar client brings.. The mcwar client V2.0 brings lot's of new GUI to it.. So what I suggest doing is turning off all GUI you can
    3. One slight problem with the war options? the creater @phantamanta44 has not added the mcwar client options yet.. He is waiting till mcwar 2.0 will come out #soon so yeah stay tuned.. If you would like an older version visit phantas old mcwar client on his profile for the mcwar client working mcwar options..
    4. I suggest using ISO with the new scope.. With iso as I said above I double nuked with it on warsong.. I was amazing at how good the client was.. So I DEFIANTLY suggest getting it
    5. Hip fire textures.. They make the guns look smexxy but if you turn them off they will bring you back to the texturepack guns you where using in the first place.. Oh and yes they are compatible with all texturepacks (The mcwar client not the HIP fire guns) Also it doesn't affect anything else it just affects the look of the gun

    Thanks for reading and here is a tutorial on installing it:

    1. Locate %appdata% on your window's task bar and click ''.minecraft'' then goto ''Versions''
    2. In another window open the ZIP file you just received and place the MC-BF folder into ''Versions''
    3. Then start up minecraft and create a new profile and selcet ''MC-BF'' Version
    4. That's you done ENJOY!!

    Thanks for this, I've been planning on downloading the client and I think this will help
    Maybe you should bring this to @phantamanta44 and have him add it to his client post. Im not sure if he's already done something like this though, so maybe I'm just going to be useless in saying this.

    In my opinion the war client is just a looks mod it actually doesn't help you at all, infact it limits you.

    I noticed that the scope /sights are a bit off and you have to aim a little bit to the left or right for a direct hit. It might just be me, not sure. The sniper scopes makes it a challenge since your fov is limited so you got to be careful.

    off topic question: Ive heard of it, but what exactly is mcforge? Ive been interested in coding so, is that a good place to start?
    On topic: Does the client cause lag? I would think that it would either make the game smoother, or be harder on it. Either the optimization makes it smoother or the more things going on makes it slower.
    I don't know anything about this :banghead:

    MCForge is a modding API designed for compatibility and power. It loads mods into the game via the ForgeModloader wrapper, and injects tweaks into the game process. I'm trying to learn to use it, so you can load my mod alongside Optifine, or whatever other mods you want.

    As for whether it's a good starting point for coding...

    Start over here.

    thanks phanta, ill look into it. You know how much I love my video games, but it would be even cooler to make one. Thats my motivation
    edit: Im actually using khan at the moment. Funny how that works out

    The scope slows your movement speed even more, the zoom is basically the same and the courserver does not make you aim worse than the scope also the scope blocks your view on the sides allowing you to be easily killed without even being able to detect your opponent. The minimap has not much to it it's practically useless (because its just a series of lines and spread out dots). The shooting configuration is also extremely confusing you will have to scroll through hundreds of control configurations just to figure out WHY THE **** IS MY SHOOTING SCREWED UP.
    Last the hud is annoying and may also get in your way.
