    You've contradicted yourself with this statement.

    The same issues and more would arise with adding the old logging plugin. People logging mid fight would still be an issue, people dying from the anti logging system would be an issue once again, people would complain that people just log mid fight because their "ct" time ran out.

    People wouldn't log mid fight because there would be combat tagging, people would only die if they logged in and out of a server multiple times, and you could make some tweaks so the combat tag time would be longer.

    All I remember people doing was running around and eventually just logging because their ct time ran out.

    Here's an example:


    First clip, just running around until his ct time finally wears off and just logs out.

    Or what if you tp a friend in, he jumps in loot and logs before anyone can shoot him, is that fair?

    If their persistent enough to run that long to get away and save their loot I wouldn't care, only problem would be the second point you brand up but from what I remember it wasn't that big of a problem.

    Yes, something like lowering the logout time would be more considered than completely changing the system.

    Wasn't that big of a problem? No, it's a problem that can become big and can become very annoying / frustrating.

    Well, you put up a good argument I'm not going to lie, but you're right it can develop into a big problem. But it is still something I would be willing deal with, not sure about the rest of the community though.

    If we are going to keep the current system no matter what I'd preference if they lowered the logout time to 4-6 seconds.

    After what Signatured and Mario have said I think it would be preferable to have a system with a 5 second /logout time and you can log in/out as many times in five minutes as you want.

    Is the current 'three times in five minutes' plugin still in place, or has it been removed?

    Again, that is a more reasonable thing to suggest and I'd be happy to lower the time.

    Only reason that doesn't happen now is due to Mario not having access to the Brawl source code. He doesn't have access to check who's in who's friends list.

    Bro everyone knows that people 6million vs. 1 so /ct makes it more fair in that situation. @Signatured bro really? I mean if there are 5 guys beneath you are you really gonna win? No. 1) your not @LuckyPop 2) Thats impossible. We really should revert to the old system...

    The first idea is just the old combat system except if you want to logout while in combat you just type /logout. It doesn't really make up for it in my opinion. Your second idea could actually work because it combines both systems together, it would need some tweaks, however.

    Exactly. We keep this because combat logging is back. If we removed spawn port a lot of people would die from server t-pack popping up, lag from joining server, etc.
