Well, this thread comes on the eve of some heart wrenching news for me. I have barely been playing the servers as is, but now, somehow, will become even more inactive. I was in New York City over the weekend, and was feeling sad about leaving. This was until I came home. Upon arrival my grandmother informed us that one of our three dogs had died. She was 14 and died from a broken bone. She fell down our stairs, and broke her femur bone in her leg. Her bones were so brittle they snapped at a jagged edge. If she had not had surgery earlier the bone would have severed and artery. We had high hopes she would survive, and there as no doubt in our minds she would. But the screws that would be put into her bone would not stay. As I write she has been euthanize no longer than an hour or two ago.

Hopefully I will be back, and if I am, well, I won't play much.

Feel free to skim the article to get the details, and skip the back story.

Man that sucks, but things happen, am I right? Best thing we can do is spend time with them, you're probably doing the right thing. Hope to see you back soon.

No worries, I went through an experience not much different from yours a while ago. It really sucked, just trying to be your pillow when you fall. :stuck_out_tongue:

14 years old? Darn, your dog sure lived a long and good life. Hopefully she is in a better place.

As a dog owner myself I now the trouble of these things I've already have two dogs die after long lives due hip issues honestly the best thing you can do is love you dog as much as possible before it dies because you don't want to have any regrets of not having done something with it or not let it done something.
