Picture limit on posts

    The current picture limit on posts is 10. Many ctf teams display player heads next to their igns. With the team size limit being 25, we may not be able to fit all of the player heads on the threads. We also have team signatures that are normally displayed. If it's not a big hassle is there any way the image cap per post can be lifted for the teams section?
    (This applies to ctf and hg teams)

    really i wish but i dont see player heads being such a big issue, the sigs maybe they r half the team xD i would love for them to raise it but i think its asking a little too much

    Picture limit is actually ten. This is because a lot of pictures in one post take a long time to load. Plus, full image pictures lag the page on mobile browsers.

    Yeah, I see why it's there, although I think it could make posts a bit more organized in the teams section if there wasn't a cap.

    You can always upload images to Imgur, put those images in an album, and put the link of that album in your thread.

    We have support for embded imgur albums if that helps. The gallery below isn't even considered to be one image.

    Ex. Typing [MEDIA=imgur_album]LlhB4[/MEDIA] turns into
    Click to view imgur album!


    With that in mind, how many images do you usually have on a thread?

    oh... thats uhm... something... i dont usually make the team threads so 0 idea how they gonna implement that. it can be useful for our sigs i guess we usually have a few of those and the album makes it neater. but the heads is more like

    1. [head] ign
    2. [head] ign

    all the way to 25, with a limit of 20 we cant put all the heads.

    Alright, I've worked out a BB code system where you can include as many heads as you want.
    [head]Notch[/head] will display: Notch

    The better solution is to limit by image size, but I'm not sure if XenForo allows for this. Also images should be loaded async, right?

    XenForo doesn't allow you to limit images by size. The max images per thread is just there to make the pages friendly for mobile users and users who have terrible internet speeds.
