    KitPvP Ultimate Guide
Welcome to the KitPvP Ultimate Guide! This is a continuation of the previous guide I made that sadly was in the old KitPvP forums section and got removed. I hope this guide is helpful to you, and good KitPvPing!

    KitPvP Regular

    Starting Hotbar

The starting hotbar when you log in.
Whenever you log in to KitPvP, you get started with the following 4 items:

Paper - Kit Selector | Where you can select what kit you will use to play.
Player Head - Brawl Challenger | Opens a menu where you can challenge players to a 1v1.
Compass - Portal to KitPvP Guns | Teleports you to the 'KitPvP with Guns' server (Coming Soon...).
Clock - Quene Selector | Opens a menu where you can enter competitions, like 1v1s, 2v2s, 3v3s, and so on.

    Kits
KitPvP has a variety of kits you can pick from, these include donor kits which can only be accessed by people who have donated and have a rank on the server. There are a total of 2 donor kits and 8 normal kits.

    Tank
Due to the lack of a donor rank, my information for this kit is limited. This kit lives up to it's name considering it is only one of the two kits equipped with full diamond armor, making it a dangerous kit to play against.

    ---------------------------------
    Gear
    Full Diamond Armor
    Sharpness I Diamond Sword
    Slowness II

    Indian
Again, due to the lack of a donor rank, my information for this kit is limited. Due to the fact that this kit is currently broken (you can't throw the axe), not many people use this kit that much.

    Full Leather Armor
    Golden Axe

    Melee

This is the starting kit of all players, you will see many people equipped with this kit. Although it is the most basic kit you will see lots of even professional players use this kit, due to the fact that the kit is equipped with iron armor and powerful Sharp II Diamond Sword.

    Ranged

This is the most cheapest kit to buy, you may see many of these running around, many people even find this kit to be VERY annoying. Due to the fact that the archer's bow is very powerful and and at the same time it can send you flying. The speed of this kit also makes it a very hard opponent to take down.

    Gear
    Full Chain Armor

    Sword Cavalry

You will probably barely ever see this kit, due to the fact that if your horse dies, then you're very vulnerable with only leather armor protecting you. But the kit's attack damage is the same as Melee and with the horse Sword Cavalry can travel very fast and get out of sticky situations.

EDIT: With the new minor update. Horses are now invincible, making this kit a whole lot balanced to the other kits. Some people may complain that this is a little bit too overpowered because sometimes the horse can block hits from coming to you. But still keep in mind that you still have Leather Armor and that you can't go in your inventory and re-soup while riding a horse.

    Ranged Cavalry

This kit is literally a Ranged plopped on a Horse, except when your horse dies you don't get the Speed II. This kit is useful for shooting at players and getting away at the right time, just watch your opponent rage as you shoot him backwards on your horse at full speed!

    Brute

This kit is most similar to the donor kit Tank, though it lacks the powerful sword, this is what makes one flaw of the Brute, another flaw is the Slowness II it receives making it easier for opponents to escape. But think twice when you want to fight this powerful kit, the defense is incredible and it's a hard opponent to beat.

    Ninja

In my opinion before the nerf, the Ninja kit used to be the best kit on KitPvP. By the looks of it, the ninja may seem weak with just a Leather Chestplate covering it, but the attack power of this kit is tremendous. It is equipped with Strength I, a Sharpness I, and Fire Aspect I Sword. Also it has speed I.

    Pyro

Though there is nothing very special with this kit, only setting people on fire does the job, hence the word 'pyro'. The medium armor and weak yet annoying sword are what the Pyro has equipped, you won't see many people using this kit, but it has the same sword as Ninja.

I like to refer this kit as the 'Troll Kit', considering if you use this kit correctly, then you can successfully slash players and they won't have a clue of what hit them. This kit is very fun to use and you could go through the whole arena without being hit, this is also a very good kit to catch hackers with.

    Kill Reward System
I'll make this as simple as possible, the Kill Reward System is pretty self explanatory. Whenever you get a kill the system rewards you, these include credits and soup. You can use credits to buy kits and soup to you know... soup. The higher a person's killstreak is, the more credits and soup you get. For example, if you kill a fresh spawn, you get 4 soups and 5 credits, whilst if you kill a legendary, you get 7 soups and 20 credits. It's a good strategy to kill weaker kits when you're in need of soups, but most of the time, it's not really a good idea.

    Elo
Elo basically means 'skill', you may or may not have seen your Elo on your sidebar. Everyone starts with the Elo of 1200. Every time you win a 1v1 you gain 20 Elo, and if you lose a 1v1 you lose 20 Elo. Also with challenges, if you win a challenge you get 40 Elo, if you lose a challenge you lose 40 Elo. Many games use this system, and also board games, if you play Chess. You know what I'm talking about.

    Souping
If you don't know what souping exactly is, I'm guessing you haven't gone that much in to KitPvP. As you can have seen while playing. You always have soup in your inventory no matter which kit you have, I will explain in this guide what exactly souping is and how to soup efficiently. First I will explain the baselines of souping. NOTE: If you already know what souping is and are already decent at it, you may not need to see my guide about souping. Although you could still look and see if you don't know any of these.

    Soup
Right now you may be wondering something along the lines of, "Why is this guy making such a big deal about soups? All they do is just make you less hungry...". That is correct, but in KitPvP and in most servers, soups are not only for hunger but for something far more important in PvP... health. When ever you right-click a soup you regain 3.5 hearts. This way PvP fights last much more longer and requires much more skill to beat your opponent. This is why you will see many players taking souping seriously and excelling in it. But with souping, there are many techniques...

    Scrolling
This is most probably the first technique every beginner to souping uses. It's pretty self-explanatory, you just have to scroll through your soup. This is very useful when you have very little health left. Just one soup won't save you. This is why you must scroll through your soups. I say this is how beginners start out, but even beginners don't just use this, many elite players use this as well. But you just have to be fast in scrolling through your soup or that time will give an opportunity for the opponent to strike!
    Hotkeying
This is the method I would prefer waiting on until you grasp the basic knowledge and skill of souping. Before knowing what Hotkeying is, you should probably know what your Hotbar is. Your Hotbar is the 9 slots you see when ever you're playing. When you go in to the arena the usual kit has the sword in the first slot, and soup in the rest. Or the sword in the first slot, a bow in the second slot, and soup in the rest. to make my explaining more easier, and how many people refer to these slots, I will name the slots by numbers. Starting from left to right. Meaning that your sword is in Slot 1, and soup is in Slot 2-9. What Hotkeying basically is, is just quickly switching around your Hotbar in KitPvP. Many players don't have enough time to scroll around in their Hotbar, because when you're in a fight you don't have enough time to fall back and soup. You just have to soup on the spot and continue fighting.

Well, that's enough explaining! As you should probably know by now, there are 10 numbers above your Q, W, E, R, and so on keys. Going through 1-9 and 0. In Minecraft, 0 doesn't mean anything if you click it. However if you click any number 1-9, it will go to that numbered slot. Keep in mind that this doesn't work on the number pad! Try clicking all the numbers and you will see that it will take you to that numbered slot. Now try pressing 1, Left-Clicking, pressing 2, Right-Clicking, then pressing 1 again. Congratulations, you have just Hotkeyed! Now you see the concept of Hotkeying, you need to slash with your sword, click 2, soup (right-click), and then click 1 and slash with your sword again. But once you soup, you use up your soup and then instead of clicking 2, you have to click 3, and so on. You have to constantly switch between your sword and soup.

Now I will say this, you must be efficient in doing this but at the same time moving around with your WASD keys and keep on clicking without looking at the keyboard. At first this may seem that you have to hire an octopus to do this for you. But trust me, practice will make you must more efficient. Practice is what has gotten me to soup as fast as I can now. Note that if your finger can't reach that far to the far keys such as 8 and 9, you can always scroll quickly from your sword back and access them. Or you can branch off with your thumb, you can do this by keeping your middle finger on W, while reaching your thumb far out and getting the far keys. I made this up and I find it to be useful sometimes.

    Refilling
You now may have realized that you used up all of your soup in your Hotbar, now in place of all your soups is just empty bowls. You may be asking, "This is all the soup I get?!". But no, it isn't, you get more soup by killing people as I stated above. There is more soup in your inventory. But before you even access your inventory you must clear out your Hotbar, you can do this by simply dropping all of your empty bowls. Then putting soup in the empty spots of your Hotbar. This can be very frustrating when refilling in a fight, you don't have enough time to drag and drop all of your soup, and by these two methods I will state, you can refill in no time and be ready for the fight. Keep in mind both of these are used by elite players and it's up to you which method you think is easier for you.

The first method is shift-clicking. Some of you may know what it is, considering if you hold Shift, and Left-Click on an item in a chest, it automatically goes in your inventory. The same applies when souping. Simply go in your inventory and shift-click a soup for it to automatically go in your Hotbar. I use this method and what I do is just hold Shift and spam Left-Click to quickly get all the soup in my Hotbar.

The second method is which I find hard, for some people it's easier though. It's basically Hotkeying. What you have to do is go in to your inventory and put your mouse on a soup. Then press a number, then that soup will go in to the numbered slot in which you clicked. In simpler words if you put your mouse on a soup in your inventory and pressed 2, if would go in to Slot 2 in your Hotbar. Likewise you can quickly do this and pressing all the numbers and going through all the soups in your inventory. By doing this method you don't have to click anything, rather moving your mouse and clicking the numbers on your keyboard.

    Quickdropping
This is pretty self-explanatory, you simply just quickly drop. You do this with empty bowls of soup, you can do this while scrolling but I find it easier while Hotkeying. What this basically is, is that instead of souping and going back to your sword, you soup, then you press Q, then you go back to your soup. This will pay off in the future considering if you kill someone you will just get the soups in your Hotbar and don't have to refill. Even if you don't kill someone it still pays off, considering you can refill without having to drop all of your soups. This can be tricky at first, but again with practice you'll be much better. Back in the day when I was new to Quickdropping in Survival PvP fights I always used to drop my swords resulting in me always loosing! Good times...

That's all the souping tips I have! Just always remember these were also very frustrating for me, but with practice I can promise you, you will be a great souper. Good luck souping!

    PvP Tips and Tricks
Here you will find many tips and tricks on PvPing, there are lots of nifty things that would boost you up. Feel free to post below some tips and tricks you use!

    Strafing & Circling
I'm sure many of you know what strafing is, but for those of you who yet to figure out this beauty, I will tell you. Strafing is simply moving left to right, you can also move left to right while going forward and backwards. But it is basically so that the opposing player cannot hit you. While strafing it is more difficult for the enemy to hit you considering you are going in different directions. This is way more effective when you have speed, making it simply unbearable for the opposition to hit you. You will see many professional players using this.

Now circling is what I barely use and you may not see many people using it. It's pretty self-explanatory, you just have to circle around the enemy. This is kind of like strafing in the concept of making it harder for the player to hit you. Also you can get up really close to the opposing player and make it pretty annoying while circling around him. Many people mainly use this while fighting mobs, but I can see this getting applied to players... really... unintelligent players...

haha noobs, don't just eat the soup and leave it, eat the soup and throw it away so you can refill quickly (quickdrop)
btw, i can refill in under half a seconds, just do shift + click really quickly and you'll get all your soups in ur hotbar really quickly.
