    The Team of Champions
Mostly for Brawl people with no other place to go. The way it works? The higher your ranking, the more likely you are to play in team matches, and the less scrutiny you are exhibited to. The better you play, the more likely you are to receive a promotion.

    Only Restrictions:
    »
    No haxing pls
    » No team-griefing/betrayal.
» No begging for nonmaterial things.
    » Respect your superiors.
» No releasing information/resources of the team without explicit permission from a commanding officer.

We're a pretty laid back group, but you should still recognize that failure to adhere to these guidelines will result in your prompt expulsion.

    Current Roster
    CO: @Phanta
    CPT: -
    LIU: -
    CPL: -
    PRV: -

    Want to join?
Write a short paragraph explaining in-detail why you want to join, what you can offer our team, and when you will be available to play. Applications will be considered by the higher-ups as soon as possible.

Make sure you identify yourself as a Recruiting team.
As a word of advice, this team system isn't the best idea. Mostly what happens is one group of elite players play all the matches and everyone else is discontent. It's good to run a democratic team (voting, equality and such), and almost all CTF teams are that way xP

Nevertheless, good luck on becoming official eventually!

Currently, your roster is as follows:
    Commanding Officer
    Captain
    Lieutenant
    Colonel
    Private

I believe you meant CPL for Corporal. If you actually meant COL for Colonel, then it should be located above Captain.

On another note, GL with recruting.

Hello! Please tag your thread as [Recruiting]

Your post is abit...odd to say the least.

What is team griefing/betrayal? CTF teams do not mean you always play with your team, most of the time it is with random players and you are only in your own team during official matches.

What is nonmaterial things? You only earn classes by buying them and there is no form of currency or upgrade system in CTF. Also, you may want to include more to your app as you do not specify what form of communication you would use (Skype is extremely recommended and pretty much required for Team reps).

Once you get 10 members, you can talk to a CTF moderator to approve your team, which is when you change your[Recruiting] to [Pending] and at the end of the month you turn Pending, you will become [Official]

This team seems a bit militant in my personal opinion, but it isn't unusual. Just keep in mind that CTF teams are much different than Brawl teams in most aspects, and it is much more about making friends than being good.

He was talking about the thread structure, not him in-game. CTFers are really looking foward to the new fresh meat we will get once CTF re-releases and will ensure the best environment for new players*!

    *experience may vary

Also, can you specify what your ranks mean? Where is the leader and who will the rep be? I advise to check other team threads and revise a bit.

Also, you may want to read up more here:

Just keep in mind that yes, winning can be nice. Although, teams are more than just winning. It's about gaining friends, learning as a team from losses. Also, let other people have a chance in team matches when it comes together. It's only fair. It's how one person learns more about the game, and what strategy they're comfortable with. :grinning:

Oboi, the first brawl team :open_mouth: As other people have said, this probably isn't the. . . "best" system ever. Generally how matches work is you schedule one and people on the team sign up for it. If you really want a good/happy team, you won't take preference of some people over others.

There are also two types of "memberships." There's an Official Member whom can play in official and unofficial matches, and a mercenary who is "on" the team but cannot participate in official matches. This basically helps mix it up a bit. You can only be a member for one team, but a mercenary for multiple teams.

Also: the application process. Judging how most of us are under 18, we're all really lazy and don't feel like writing a paragraph. Make something that's short and sweet, quick to do but gets the point across. I would probably have it go something like this:

    IGN (in game name):
    Skype:
    Member/Merc:
    Main Classes:
    Main Role:
    Why you want to join:
    Extra Info (Optional):

Skype groups are key, btw. It is a must. It's free, easy to use, no reason except for parental restrictions to not use it. Besides lag qq. Very helpful for communications and announcements. TeamSpeak isn't very viable for this type of gaming, tbh. Most teams also have around 2-3 chats: An announcements chat, a members chat, and a members and mercs chat. Again, Skype is best for this.

As for ranks, there are basically 4: Leader, Representative, Council, and Member. Well, I guess Mercenary, too. The Leader is basically the founder and head man. Representative schedules the matches (leader can be representative), council members are veterans of the team and help with big decisions, and member is the average team member.

It's also okay to have rules, but make sure to not be too hardcore ^_^ Same with those ranks >_> people will get the idea that they are above others, which isn't exactly good for teamwork if people have egos to worry about.

Hope this helped ^_^ Sorry for the wall of text, aaannndddd good luck with the team! :grinning:

he messed up. An official member can play in both official and unofficial matches, while a mercenary can play in only unofficial matches. and yes u can merc for many teams but officially only be a part of one.
