    Mcpvp didn't have a chat filter, though it was discussed at some point. Users were able to say whatever they liked in chat, as long as it was no extreme harassing, bullying a person, racism etc. It worked pretty well and most people didn't go totally overboard. It also meant there were a few server advertisers, spammers and flame in chat from time to time (though spamming could get you an automatic mute if excessively), but those were usually handled by mods that were online regularly, and if not players reported them. The game can get frustrating and most people understood it is a short term rage.

    After the merge, a chat filter will most likely be in place on CTF which will filter this, which is probably a good idea, brawl seems to have more younger players than mcpvp (based off server size and teamspeak). It's more or less clear that this trailer is from a different server pre-merge, so I don't think this one word is much of an issue here. =)

    I don't see what the problem with this is. There are SO many cases of people cursing in videos of brawl vids. censoring them out will only take up more time, and will most likely cause more anger in the MCPVP communities due to censorship.

    Yes, I get that it is rude to include cursing in vids but the cons are far outweighing the pros here.
