    If pyro gets a rework by instead of having an insta-kill it does 5 hearts of True damage or something if on fire. Soldier and Chemist will need one.

    Its hardly removing any strategy as heavies can't come up with a strategy against Pyro when they'll just get instakilled. You yourself stated your doubt of a team defeating 3 buffed heavies, so why should one class be able to do so?

    We don't need a rework for pyro imo. All you need is a distraction.
    CTF is a team game.

    you will probably be killed before your arrows run out. in my case it's: one arrow = one kill, but that might just be me. ^-^

    Is this a joke? Instakills are why CTF is broken.
    Look above
    You can't distract pyros because of the AOE arrow

    Instakills gives ctf a competitive feel for me, and it makes the game challenging. I don't know about you but instakill said always will be apart of ctf. I don't want to spam the thread, we can continue in pm's if you want.

    Ya ctf is a team game. Not pyro vs everyone else.

    Instakills make the game IMPOSSIBLE, not challenging. There's a difference.

    It is possible for someone to cap on a pyro. It is possible for someone to kill an archer. And it is possible to block an assassin instakill. So, instakills don't make the game impossible. They just make the game difficult to a certain degree. Which, in my opinion, just makes the game more fun. Ok, but seriously continue this in pm's with me.

    Some instakills Are fair to the game. Assassins for example, block with your sword to defend very easy to kill and you can insta-kill them back. fair. Archer for example, sniping someone from that long of range takes skill to preform and still can not be perfected, fair. Pyro thou? It just has to fire one arrow in the general area at someone disregarding if it even hits it or not to light them on fire and insta-kill them, its not fair at all, and thats even leaving out the flint and steel.

    Why bother with pms? This subject needs to be addressed by the community addressing it in pms wont do anything to make progress on this subject.

    It is not that hard to make a pyro bite and shoot an arrow. Once the pyro has shot an arrow that misses you, that is your chance. Not too many pyros can kill you once they've shot there arrows. Without pyro instakills, soldiers will be capping with ease, not too mention heavies. I didn't want to spam the thread, that's why I asked for pm's.

    See, you act like they are just going to remove the insta-kills and think pyro is perfect. A rework that does true damage or someting like that would act the same way and allow more counter-play as classes can fight back.

    Also, once pyro misses an arrow, they can either draw another one, or spam flint and steel, it's not hard.

    i don't really think you need slowness 1 when you get set on fire normally fire can kill your sprint which will allow a pyro catch up to you and insta kill you

    Soooo... Buffed Heavy is rare and not OP? >_>

    However, I do agree that Pyro's instakill is a huge turnoff for noobs.

    Edit: In fact, in one of the last games I played before the buyout, a new guy said "Insta-Kill Axe?! WTF?!" and left the server. I haven't seen him on since.

    There's actually a easy way against flint spammers.
    1) Back away
    2) Wait 5 sec for fire to go out
    3) Close for kill
    In my experience the bow is more dangerous and usually nets more kills anyways.
