    As most of you should know, we had team servers on which team matches were hosted. The IP used to be t.mcctf.com. I suggest adding atleast 2 team servers.

    Of course, if this is planned on, please don't go mad at me in the replies.

    We already decided to keep one match server for tournaments and Quarter Quells.

    I think there should be 2 or 3 special servers, where people can host any gamemode. Then, tournaments and Quarter Quells, as well as possibly team games in other gamemodes (!!!) could be added, too.

    Definitely not, it was a well requested thing on MCPVP, and it got added at the end.
    It made match planning incredibly easy, we could have 2 matches at the same time.

    Um... I hate to break it to you, but the QQ is for HG, and if CTF is having matches at the same time as an HG match (which, unfortunately is very likely on weekends) then we're going to have a huge problem.
    Also, it'd be good if CTF (and maybe HG, but I really don't know much about their matches) could have two match servers of its very own. This worked out very well on MCPVP and I'm hoping that you guys can do that here.

    When talking to the CTF Organization team it always sounded like the CTF tournament was also called QQ.

    Whatsoever, of course the match server is only for CTF and not for both, CTF and HG. I explained this in a PM already, but servers cost money and these servers will be un-public, so I doubt we will have more than one.

    Nope, they're completely separate things. The QQ happens approximately once a month (@Miskey @otherHGers tell me if I'm wrong here) and is for HG only. CTF has many team matches/other matches every weekend and they usually fill up the whole weekend, so that's why I was concerned.
    If you guys could keep an open mind towards a second CTF match server eventually, that'd be cool! I know a lot of people agree with me on this, so I just thought it was worth bringing up.

    The quarter quell was originally intended to be once a year, although towards the end of mcpvp they were rotating a soup and no soup quell every month.

    Two match servers for ctf would be great so matches wouldn't to cut into eachother. We had this problem on mcpvp and it got fixed towards the end by making two match servers. Looks like we'll be seeing ctf very soon!

    Just to point out. CTF has matches almost every weekend most of the time multiple matches on the same days, meaning 1 match server wouldn't be enough considering each match could last an hour and 30 mins each if a normal match. If it was more than 3 matches say a co-op then i could last over 2 hours.

    Don't forget about the eu au us br time zones, sometimes people wouldn't have the time to play.

    (Cutting to the point) CTF needs more than one match server xD.

    My suggestion would be to add another server, and have it be white listed Saturday/Sunday afternoons only.

    I second this. This is actually really smart. This way they wouldn't be wasting server space, but we have the servers we need. c:
