    I like it. Makes Assassin more complex and more fun to play.

    But, as I said many times, Assassin doesn't really need a rework right now because it has it's own down-sides and up-sides, that balance up.
    Just my opinion.

    Hold on what?? Are you saying that just because people enjoy it, means it's balanced? That means every class in this game is balanced, because people enjoy playing it!!1!1! And why change it? Like I said, bad counter-play. For what that means, watch this video because i suck at explaining.



    @hotintexas I'm reluctant to buff the shears damage because of the low cooldown....
    What if assassin did 2 hearts true damage for a critical hit? This makes pvp skill more prominent here.

    The video made alot more sence on where you were coming from with assassin, but I still have a few questions about your rework.

    If assassin is made to quickly take out enemy tanky classes How does this rework live up to what it was intended to do before hand?

    What new role does this rework fulfill that isn't already currently in ctf?

    It's not just having a slow ping, it's whoever's ping is faster. In a regular non-instakill fight, unless the lag is insane, ping isn't as big of an issue, but since this kill literally only takes 2 clicks to preform, reaction time is a huge deciding factor in the victor, and that reaction time can be delayed by ping.

    Oh obi, sorry about that. I meant buffing the sword, and that I like the shears the way they are.

    Ah, well this does that with true damage. True damage goes through armor, so all classes take the same damage from assassin. In addition, its full burst does 10 hearts, which is a ridiculous amount of damage, but would also be pretty hard to land.

    An anti-tank burst class. We already have ninja, but ninja does physical damage, wheras assassin does true damage, or magic damage I guess you could call it xDDD.

    I agree now that assassin could use some changes but I don't think this rework is the way to go. I think they plan on making pyro the "true-damaging" dealing class already.

    Right, but pyro would do more aoe fire damage and stuff.They both do the same thing, just in different ways and roles, like soldier and heavy can both cap, just in different ways. A similar concept can work for 2 classes.

    Yes Yes, out of the two classes there are, that is the only problem with it. People need to learn to block ---. Pyro is op though.

    People should be able to see them coming. I doubt blind people play CTF.

    Still, if they have a better ping than you, or if you lag even a little, you're dead. Also, a single assassin can kill an ENTIRE FLAG ROOM! HOW IS THAT FAIR???!

    A single Ninja can do the same, and that's "fair". Same with a b00fed Heavy or a Chemi. (These two have their own problems, but point remains.)

    I really like this idea! Just 2 problems, I think that the Shadow Dash could be tweaked, maybe instead of instantly teleporting it's a 'dash' and you get insane speed for a few seconds. This way it could use skill to manuever it during those few seconds. I also think that those are way too many skills, maybe cut a few down? It would be unfair for other classes to have basic abilities with one kit with so many abilities (not going to go in the discussion about assassin being too OP).

    It's a good rework. But I feel like true damage isn't the way to go about the instant kills rework. I believe that instant kills need to get harder to perform.

    Actually, a lot of dashes actually are short range teleports, such as this one. In addition, the super speed isn't a bad idea, but the teleport gives a lot more options to it. For example, if the assassin falls off a building, they can tp back up. A speed boost won't let you get over walls, or safely go down them.

    Well, tbh this isn't that many skills. This has 4 skills counting the sword and not counting the steak. Mage has 5 skills. If you count the passives, that makes 8. Chemist has 6 different potion types. Overall, it's not that many, especially compared to some of our other classes.


    @BridgeDweller I dun understand, so you want to keep insta-kills, just make them harder to preform? tbh, true damage is the only way to do this and still provide some counterplay and stuff. For example, you could insta-kill with this class, it would just be very hard to pull off.

    Sorry for the double post, but there are 3 insta-kill classes, 4 if you count dwarf.

    3? Are you including elf? I'd only include assassin and pyro. The other's are, but their ability to instakill is harder.
