I'm actually going to become a counselor in training at a scout camp in a couple weeks

 

Good for you dude, I always wanted to because I loved it there so much, but my town's boy scouts fell out, and I eventually lost interest.

 

That's sad, my troop has like 30 kids in it. BELIEVE ME, WWAAYY TOO MANY! but thanks <3

We had 5 people towards the end, and we were the opposite of a boy scout troop lol. We followed like no rules and we were not scout-like, but it was the "camaraderie" that made it fun.
Great times but 3 people graduated and we had to stop. 5 people are required for a troop.

 

That really stinks and haha my troop is about the same. unorganized and mess around more then they work. we get nothing done. what rank were you?

How would a job be worse? I have a part time job during the summer right now I work a lot of hours but still have a ton of time to play brawl with friends, I make a good amount of money a week, and gain experience towards better positions and jobs.. much better than going t some lame summer camp

 

I was really mild mannered compared to the rest. 1 was my best friend, then his older brother and two of their friends.
I never made it to tenderfoot...we did community stuff but gave up on scout stuff my first year.
Anyways, go to summer camp with a positive outlook, if your uncomfortable trying to make friends, have fun doing whatever lame activities are planned, and friends will appear.

wow, sounds like your troop was gone from the start and I have lots of friends at Scout camp this is 4 year going. im a star rank and very very close to life

 

Have fun you anti-social skrub...go make friends! I kid I kid, have a blast though

 

A full time job or 2 would be way worse....
