Please no new CTF kits!

This post was needed, I mean, there are a lot of new class concepts out there
and most of them are really ridiculous and stand out from the actual classes, there
are a few good ones out there though, so I guess we have to wait and see if a practical
one is something we'd actually pay for.

Well, eventually you've gotta grow.

 

Dont be so quick to judge new classes*. You might be against it at first, but you might try it out and find out that it's your new favorite class.

 

I don't see why there should be any more classes. I like all of the classes as they are. If we keep getting more and more classes, the game might case become "Get More Kills" because of the ways to kill and stuff.

 

More classes = Less balance
Less balance = People will quit

 

Less balanced doesn't have to do with anything. To be honest, elf seems like a very useless class because I can easily kill them. Also more useless classes means people will just waste their money and get mad at brawl. Also people won't quit because there's like more than 10 classes already. People are fine with the classes already.

Please Nom. First fix everything that is wrong before you add more possible problems.

Who knows? Maybe if there is a new class, less people will be heavy. (I know there are plenty of people who are good with heavy, but I'm talking about the idiots who charge pyros and run into enemy spawn. As funny as they are, they often travel in packs, making them actually hazardous)

 

All classes are useful. Elf helps check Pyro and stop wall spamming. It really depends on the class you're using against them.

There are no new plans for a CTF class. We had just released Elf a month or two before MCPVP was shut down, and at the time being our priority is bug fixes, class balancing, and (hopefully) a new map wave. If we were to make a new class though, I'd really love it if we could actually work on adding a new free class into the fray...

 

I know the moderator just said there is no classes planned but I'm against a new one anyway.
Personally, I don't want to be playing CTF a year from now with 50 billion classes. It seems like just chaos to be honest.
I think theres a reason why most good games dont have 50 billion classes/kits and why MCPVP didn't make 50 billion classes.
(But to be honest I miss when engineer was a free kit and it was weird getting back into ctf and it not being free.)

 

Before any new ideas about new classes come out of random, how about a rework on elf (your newest class implemented into ctf). It honestly can have great potential if it wasn't so weak to get killed. The bows should, in opinion, be able to charge fully way faster and maybe extend the limit of arrows you can have at once. Either that or give it at least protection 2.
