Resignation The End... With a New Beginning

Before you read any further I will let you know I am not leaving. This is just a resignation from my position as moderator. And if you don't want to read it, don't reply please.

I know many of you never expected this, nor would I have predicted any of this happening at the beginning of my story. So let's start there. I was a war player to begin. I didn't have many friends and mostly kept to myself, leveling up daily. It wasn't until I began to become better did I join the clan MKF owned by Daniellazer . He invited me with open arms as with many other players into this once ruling clan. Soon I was decently well know within the clan and invited to join teamspeak to chat with them. This was basically how I got more involved with the community. I earlier had joined the forums but never did anything with it, I didn't post anything. (Not that I really do now anyways :v). Yes, I was one of those people that had their first post as a staff application :V. I even made it worse by back talking to the responses gave to me, SSN kind of pissed me off. But I grew from that, and I thank my early friends for getting me into the community and to where I am today.

Now for the rest of my Mod story. I became Minecraft Party moderator in April 2014 and was affiliated with the party community. I had played with Chap and Putty on opening day and loved it ever since. I honestly did not expect much from this application seeing how many become denied. The poll showed otherwise, I had an so many more yes replies than no. I still play Party and would deem myself a pro, however a rank is not based upon what you believe. I got War mod in October 2014 because I still played War and liked it. I wanted to be mod on two servers because I loved to contribute to the community. However after all this time I am still an "Iso noob". I can't use any other gun because I have adapted to using this, even with scavenger I use the Iso.

The first issue with my decision to resign is my issue of promotions. At the beginning of the year there were many Super Moderator spots open and I thought I had a chance at getting one with all the time I had devoted to these servers. But alas, it had not been enough and I did not get the job. I felt pretty bad knowing a lot of them had been moderator a lot less longer than me. I went online that night at about 1 Am to speak with Putty to understand why I was not chosen. He told me it was close and I should just keep doing what i'm doing. When I asked what I could do to improve he told me nothing. Thus I believe it was only a matter of time before I would get SMod. Now I understand it is not something I should be looking for any time soon. I completely still have opinions at some of the promotions and the methods of getting those promotions. but I do not want to dwell on that. All of the SMods do a great job and deserve their position. With the change of the mod ranks recently I thought I would get my chance. I did get a break, for about two weeks and was the new rank of moderator with only Jayden and Poaches. (I still don't like that the name is still Mod). Then a few days ago that all went away and we were just in the new majority of mods. There are literally more Mods now then JrMods.

With my second reason, In the past 2 months or so I have not been enjoying these servers as much. I have been getting bored at times and don't like to binge play for work hours. Moderating the same servers for a year and a quarter gets boring at times. The recent changes, adding McPvp, and the new servers is a hopeful outlook for Brawl. It could be my escape from the repetitive mod lifestyle, but I don't think it will be. I don't want it to be. If anything I will be playing Pixelmon or Moba in the middle of a battle or something and am going to be tossed around by some kids who think there is a hacker when in reality they are just good at the game. I do not find that much fun in being told where to go and who to ban, especially since it is not even a paying job. This has basically been a year long internship that will not get me anywhere in life.

I am resigning because I believe I want to play these new servers as a player. I want to have fun without being interrupted multiple times to do things I don't really have an interest in. I will definitely still play the servers, but not as frequently. With Pixlemon and Moba you will see me on them a lot. (Whenever they come out, #soon). I will also stay on Teamspeak because that is the best part of the community. Talking with real players in real time, I have made so many friends from just speaking to them about once. That is all that is needed to create a new friend. I don't plan on sticking with the forums, because, well, lets face it I was never really active on the forums anyways. I will still check it though.

So to all you people are asking: "WHERE ARE MY TAGHES???/?" I'll have you know there will be none. To be completely honest, I am lazy, and I will forget people. However, if you have been my friend with me through all this and are a friend to me at least, you know. You know who you are, those that truly deserve tags. You don't need **** to express how grateful I am that you were there for me.

Thank you Mods/SMods/JrMods/Coders/Build Team/ Wiki Team/ for being my friends, and to the Admins/Chap who keep this server up and let me into the Mod fam. And thank you community, for letting my time here be well worth it. I wouldn't have lasted this long if it wasn't for you.

This took me long to write and I hope you appreciated the story. Probably one of the longest resignations, but I'm not being held up to any standard. Woo. Go me. Jk. Like and Subscribe. Pce. Oh yea and Slack sucks. Go back to Skype Admins. Also the lag. Fix that lag. And all glitches. Yea. New agenda, already laid out for you.
