Kit ideas from McPvP

    Soooo, people said I was pretty good with kit ideas when I came up with them, and these are a couple kit ideas that never got much attention from the admins, but plenty from the community. And then McPvP shut down, so they never had a chance. :/
    Thank you @KingSerpirivy and @Wrafe for helping me find these again!

    Kit: Glitch
    This one was my personal favorite. The main issue was coding, but maybe the Brawl coders could find a more efficient way of doing this?

    Kit: #GL,I*TC'H

    Starting Items: Standard HG Compass, Eye of Ender, (Renamed as the random scrolling text you see on signs sometimes. Not sure how to describe it. :/)
    Special abilities: When holding the Glitched EoE, you can pass through one block wide walls and floors.

    Kit: Terraform
    I liked this one for the sheer difference from other kits.

    Kit: TERRAFORM

    Starting Items: Standard HG Compass, Snowball/Slimeball renamed Glacier/Quicksand
    Special Abilities: Left-clicking the Glacier will turn it into the Quicksand, and vice versa.
    When Glacier, every block around you Except the block you are standing on is transformed into a Packed Ice block. When Quicksand, every block is SoulSand. Ten block radius.

    Kit: Scrap
    This one was nice for overall being even with the rest of the game.

    Kit: SCRAP

    Starting Items: Standard HG Compass
    Special Abilities: During the game, there is a 10% chance to get materials that other people crafted around the game. So if someone crafts iron pants, you have a chance to get an iron ingot. The item will spawn somewhere around you.
    This one will take testing for what percentage it really needs to make it good.

    Ask me questions! I wasn't very descriptive (I'm lazy sometimes), so ask me what you think is missing and I will answer in the comments.

    These sound awesome! And I agree, you have nice ideas... Better than mine...
    The Glitch kit sounds like a ghost. With the walking through walls thing.

    Nice ideas overall but i think these will end up like the Launcher kit :l ( Underused )
    Anyways i still think you are on to something , perhaps rework the kits abit and make coding more plausible :wink:

    Glitch: Is this based of wreck-it ralph by any chance? It sounds very nice, simple, and easy to code.

    Terraform: I really like this idea as well. not as much as glitch tho.

    Scrap: ^ You get the point. Altho, it should probably have a message whenever you get something from someone else, to prevent people from missing their drops.

    Thanks Notorious! I think Glitch would stay popular, maybe not Terraform... I think Scrap would have a good chance though.
    Sort of, Striker. Maybe that movie was influencing me subconsciously, cause I thought of that first, and then I reaslized it was a lot like that and I was like, "perfect!"
    I'm not sure it'll be easy to code though... that was kinda the issue on McPvP, that it wasn't...
    I don't know zilch about coding though, soooo.... :stuck_out_tongue:

    Yeah , i think your spread to thin though , if i were you id focus on getting Glitch popular and then pushing for it to be added . JMHO

    1. If you walk through a wall as a Glitch, will you take suffocation damage? If you hold the EOE, will you fall down through the floor? +1 for good escaping kit in nosoup

    2. What's the point of the switching from a slime ball into a snowball? Confused. What's the point of packed ice around you, it makes enemies faster? What's the point of soulsand if it spawns 10x10 around you, you're stuck on that one block and wherever you run, you're the same speed as the enemy? -1

    3. Good idea, especially in QQs >:grinning: But it may be really hard to code. +1

    Scrapper sounds just like a terrible idea , sure it sounds ok on paper but what you dont think about is the fact that its completely overpowered in MANY aspects , first literally all you have to do is camp and eventually you will be supplied with a sufficient amount of resources without doing anything , this kit sounds like a leach and should not be implemented . Furthermore i must mention that the only way this would not be OP is if you only recieved items within a certain block radius but seriously how often is someone crafting next to you in HG ???? -1

    No, you do not take suffocation damage. That would be bad :stuck_out_tongue: Yeah you can fall through the floor. One of my ideas was that you could just run through a forest to escape :grinning:

    Terraform ice mode would be best with a team, so they can run to catch up to people, and terraform soulsand mode is to give you a pvp buff. Oh and you shift to turn it off so you can mine and stuff.
    I was kinda thinking you could also change it suddenly, to confuse the attacker and throw them off so you can get an attack or two in.
    The items are supposed to just spawn on a random block within a radius, so you can easily lose them behind trees and in caves. Its supposed to just give you a boost, while you can still work on whatever else you are doing.
    I definitely like Glitch best.... I just gotta hope it can be programmed.

    But if you can fall down as Glitch, when you hold the EOE won't you just fall down?

    Yep, just like @FairyBlossom03 said. Only is the floor is one block deep.
    So you could, I guess, find a cave on accident.
    And towering as this kit is kinda out of the question :stuck_out_tongue: Unless you are really creative and make a maze in midair with oneblock and two block floors on certain places... :grinning:
