    Seriously, I've always wondered this for a while. Why the heck do some maps have only 2 caps and others 5? Why do some have longer play times than others? I really want to know what happened to games that didn't end until there were max captures. And some of the maps with only 2 caps, I mean really, that's annoying. Half of them take like 1 minute and boom done games over you go to the lobby and find another ctf game with a crappy map. What happened? Can't this be changed.

    Ummmmm Some maps are bigger and/or harder to cap on... Standoff is tough to cap on and big. Rootcastle Arena is big. White/Blackout are small, and much easier to cap on than either of the previous maps.

    The only map currently in rotation that has two caps is Standoff. It was discussed to increase the caps needed, but this map especially tends to have stalemates, so two caps were kept.

    Five cap maps usually are small and would result in very short games if set on three caps. Blackout has five out of tradition I believe, it's the only map with a play time of 30 minutes as well.
