Idea 3 Classes Which Should be Removed

    In CTF, there's 3 classes which honestly serve no purpose and would be better off gone. Hardly anyone plays them, and they serve as an annoyance to people when they are used.

    1. Dwarf
    This should be obvious as to why. It is a slow, boring class which snowballs in a hugely imbalanced way. It is hardly fun to the person using it until they've held shift at their flag-room for 15 minutes, and when they are having fun, the cappers probably are not.
    2. Necro
    Once again a snowballing class, but no matter what, necro is never good enough for general CTF gameplay. It fulfils absolutely no roles, and zombies are very annoying to fight when you are trying to cap. Necro can mostly be played by running to a place near the enemy's spawn, placing your spawner in a concealed area and camping at your spawn. It is very underpowered, and has no point in the game.
    3. Engineer
    I'm not too sure about this one, but I find engineer really annoying so I've included it. Sure, it is (and has always) been counterable, especially now that it has finally been reworked. However, it is rarely used to serve any purpose in the game, and is rather annoying when you are trying to cap but there is an engineer right outside the enemy's flag-room, or if you're trying to recover off a turret-camping flag holder.

    People who bought these classes would get to chose another class that they want instead. If they have all classes, they should get a month of MVP for every class they can't swap. They'd also get Scout (which is supposed to be the next class) for free.

    I agree with you on necro, but dwarf and engineer are completely fine. Just because you find these classes annoying and unenjoyable doesn't mean that others have the same point of view. Also, the month of mvp sounds like a ripoff. These kits are supposed to last forever, 1 month of mvp does not equal that.

    Added something else, too. I've seen quite a few people find dwarf and engineer annoying (hence why they're banned in team matches).

    I don't think the reasoning to remove a class should be it being annoying. I don't think engie and necro serve a purpose in the game, but necro will hopefully be reworked soon, and that can be used to give it a role in the game. Engineer is annoying and doesn't have a defined role after a rework, but it is still a popular premium class. Dwarf is also broken, so it will be reworked at some point.

    Noo! Don't remove necro! I don't do that! If anyone has seen me played, 99% of the time I place the spawner for defending and actually try to cap and I defend myself.

    I agree with dwarf for the most part. Even if I do like using it every now and then, but... Not with the rest. Necro and engineer (In my opinion) can be used to control different areas of the map, and in doing so make it more difficult for cappers to get to their flag. Granted, not many people try to place their spawners or turrets in a good spot. Engineer can be also be used to move large groups of players into far off areas, for example the enemy flag. While a very... disliked technique, it adds a lot of challenge to the game, and forces teammates to work together to get rid of the engi. (Which in my opinion is the purpose of CTF; teamwork. Not that anyone ever does it...)

    I honestly like the concepts of Dwarf and Necro, but I think rather than them being removed they just really need a overhaul and completely reworked.

    Engineer idc either way (removed or reworked) but I agree something needs to happen to it.

    Should have seen some of my CTF team yesterday... 3 of us were in a call and we had so much teamwork, oh my gosh xD I try to also have teamwork with some of the other people playing when I'm alone, but it usually doesn't work out because we're not in a call =(
    Also, I don't think that those classes should be removed, really. They're just part of the game, and although they're not allowed in 99% of matches, I think they should stay for public play.

    Well I propose that the other classes should be kept and keep dwarf because It's actually rather handy to have.

    In my opinion engineer has a role in the game. Necro just needs a good revamp or controllable ai, and dwarf could use some tweaks.

    All of these classes are mcpvp's noob appeal classes (no offense anyone). Especially engi. Actually, all of the classes in CTF are kind of noob appeal classes, but these are some of the worst imo.

    I'd honestly say that chemist and heavy are the noob appeal classes due to the fact that they are extremely close to vanilla. They are the easiest to learn for a new player imo.

    If something in a game is annoying, it generally makes the experience worse than if it wasn't there, unless if it serves a good purpose in the game, which engineer rarely does.

    It should at least be temporary removed for now. It is just like a more powerful Pyro which is just more boring to play. Right now, the only role it serves is defending and that's it.

    I've never seen you play Necro (you'll probably know why), and I've never seen a Necro successfully use their spawner to help them defend or capture. I've never had a problem taking out Necros.

    You'd still get the upcoming class (which as far as I know is Scout).
    Both serve no purpose right now and both haven't been promised for a rework (soldier and pyro are supposed to be getting reworked right now). For now, there's no point in having them in the game.
    Exactly - it kinda shows that they don't fit into CTF.
    It doesn't, but it is very annoying to try to cap against engineers because its not the engineer who does anything - they just place their turret and defend it, and if you have the flag then you can't do much as you'll have recoverers and flag poison to deal with.
    It does have a role in the game, except it is rarely used for this because it is a lot better used to get kills.
    Its too handy - annoying to cap against, and boring for the Dwarf itself. It snowballs a lot, and Pyro fulfils its role.
    Why not? CTF would be fine without them (team matches don't have these classes in).

    I actually don't know why. I play necro a lot if it's a good map, and I always place my spawner so my zombies go into the flag -_- I don't use it to capture, i cap myself, but I has gotten skeles before ;3

    what you say wont effect anything anyway, It just gives staff an idea. So idk why you are getting like this to people but it is just a game mate. =) To be honest, in my opinion, Dwarf is great.
