    Lol that's how I would do a CTF gamemode (I for some reason am not very patient with long projects, except ones I can work on in small chunks like servers). Except, of course, I WOULD make it a bit more complex, making a bit more in the map (trees, small hills, cover) and doing some command block magic for quite a lot of systems.

    I've seen a command-block CTF gamemode before, it was actually really good. It didn't have any insta-kill, but besides some fancy chat stuff, it was almost as good as our regular CTF. It even had an auto-capture thing when you stepped into your home flag area.

    Edit: Just noticed, the "What's an Archer?" option is now one vote short of matching all the other answers combined.

    So far, I've used BattleKits to get soup (srry for no steak, wasn't on BattleKits menu) and I've came up with a capping system, consisting in commands like /test, /testforblock and /setblock.
