Complete [CTF] Valle Morti

    Well, I'm back with another map that is technically both an original and a rework. Before the merge with the Brawl servers, I had made a map that was merely 151 blocks long and only 49 blocks wide. In terms of map building for a gamemode like this, that's beyond small. By the way, if you wish to check that map out the ID is 225586. Continuing on, I had began a rework of the map also before the merge but lost motivation and stopped working on it completely. The first draft of the rework that I had was fairly different than the completed one.

    In the rework, I knew that I wanted to keep a lot of the main elements similar such as two in-the-air bridges going across the middle and the flag room. I felt that in the original I had good ideas going across the board but didn't deliver them correctly. I hope with this new version of the map I have improved from the original. I'm open to constructive criticism but if it comes down to where I need to change everything, I'm probably just going to drop the idea as a whole. That being said, I did have help along the way by some amazing people which are listed below in my usual "thank you" section and in spawn on the actual map.

    In this rework/original map, whatever you prefer to call it, I did the following things from the original (with, of course, those who helped me):

    • Expand on the width and length
    • Add more types of custom trees
    • Revamp the flag room slightly
    • Add new structures such as a ruin-like tower and waterfall
    • Add an underground passageway
    • Add a valley-like area
    • Add more aesthetic details
    Now that the essay part of this is over, I managed to take a couple of screenshots for those who wish to view them. As always, it's best to actually get on build and view them that way but whatever floats your boat. Also, thanks to my lovely models, as always.

    I know the glitch but I don't fully understand how it works so I kept it for now. Feel free to PM me over Skype and elaborate how it works.

    u open the chest and put stuff inside, e.g. a ninja sword. switch classes, open the chest and take stuff out. only works for minecart/enderchests though i think

    An amazingly solid map, despite soldier being a big strong point in this map. The flag rooms, spawns, and aesthetics are all on point (Bob loves clay hint hint), and while the only concern is the midfield bridges being too overpowered for soldier, you've seemed to have balanced it out perfectly with the right amount of sponges and climbable surfaces.
