Dwarf can ONLY be used as defense because it's so slow, and assassin's can easily take them out, as well as archers on some maps. Also, ninja needs to be the focus as far changes go atm, and that's coming from someone who USE ninja! (Though not because it's bugged...) and this is just scratching the surface on why this is a bad idea, no offense...

 

This is one of the very many reasons why we should keep dwarf!

But in all seriousness, you can't just remove a class because you don't like it sporty. If we did that then no classes would exist because everyone has their own pet hate classes! I hate engineer, lets remove that! oh, I don't like archer, well lets remove that. This is totally biased because peoples games can be ruined potentially by any class if it's played to great effect. Dwarf is overpowered, but it should be fixed not removed

 

Adding to this, Dwarf is one of the only decent counters to medic capping and chemist capping on maps like Vally of ruin, or Kill Creek.

It's not THAT overpowered compared to the other premium classes...

 

Considering the number of threads at the moment arguing about how overpowered each of the classes are at the moment, I'm not going to turn this thread into another one. Despite relative power, it is overpowered in defense and needs to be fixed, I think we can all agree on that!

The Dwarf adds more strategy into the game. It would be a much easier game without dwarf. I think it does a tiny rework though. The max level it should go to is 10-15. And the dwarfs fire should NOT allow for a pyro to insta-kill someone. The pyro should use its OWN fire to kill someone.

 

Personallly, I like dwarf, It makes the player Incredibly weak at the start, but progressively snowballing into an unstopabble beast when played correctly. Its a savior against Ninjas and Soldiers who try to capture. Maybe giving dwarf weakness after not getting a kill for a while (like 20 seconds) would be a decent Debuff, But outright removing it would enrage a lot of people.

 

As of right now, I dont believe a rework is in line for dwarf. Heres why:

Firstly, It's slow. Yes, it can become a one shot monstrosity, but let a ninja ghost; or let a soldier sneak away, and the dearf becomes a useless rock.
Secondly, it's needed. On certain closed in flag rooms, its the needed defensive unit to really hold it together
Lastly, it starts off weak, so it cannot start unstoppable right away, and assassins can always just kill them when they are unprepared.

 

lol don't remove dwarf even though I'm not a fan of playing em or fighting em it does add more strategy to the game

Now I see everyone going all kamikaze on their opinions on Dwarf. Like seriously .-.

 

Well... for one thing I'm not sure why you'd have a 'FUK U' option in the poll unless you like being insulted.
