Idea Dwarf Buff

I'm trying to take an off topic discussion with some hate and bring it to a positive rework...

Too bad. The argument will last forever until Mage's damage spell gets nerfed or CTF dies out, and even then after there will be those diehards.

 

What did Mage do to you? You seem to hate it with a passion. I understand being ticked or even frustrated with Mage, but yikes. Till the end of CTF? Hopefully we don't get to see that day.
@556869 I agree. Dwarf and Mage need changes, but you can still play most aspects of the game pretty well as they are now, whereas pyro, chemist, and soldier... Not so much.

You're kidding right? Mage's only attack IS spells. That's like complaining that a heavy uses his sword too much . . .

 

Tbh. Both Mage and Dwarf are unbalanced to varying degrees and should be changed.

There's nothing wrong with disliking Mage because of its ability to spam high amounts of ranged damage. Besides, I play Mage and I wouldn't mind if that got nerfed a little bit.

Mage is one of the most balanced classes. There's nothing wrong with Damage Spell Spam. It has a short cool down. And it takes two of them to kill a Ninja.

Dwarf is balanced. :]

Legitimate. Anyways we shouldn't be arguing about Mage balance in a thread about Dwarf.

I honestly think dwarf is as good as it is especially in closed flag areas. Dwarf is meant to be a defensive class that cannot set on fire or be affected by potions past level 5 and gains 1 sharpness enchant on their swords every level knockback every 3 and every 4th level fire aspect. This is also not mentioning if you a defensive team of medics and chemists defending as well in which dwarves will be harder to kill. When MCPVP made the class they made it as even as possible as every other class; if anything it may need a debuff since more new players are joining ctf :/

 

Sorry but the last thing dwarf needs is a buff :/

 

dwarf doesnt need buffs
he can survive headshots
he can onehit or twohit ppl after lvl 15
he cant burn and doesnt get damage from pots after lvl 5

dwarf is a defensive class
and in def he is op
when he has some other players who help him (medic, pyro, assassin, ...)
than he is more op

the mage and the archer are a good counter against the dwarf
because in pvp against a dwarf over lvl 5 alone you wont survive
u only can kill the dwarf in pvp when you have many ninjas or you dont let hit you and use your flashbombs

every class has something which nerfs the class
the pyro doesnt have a sword so an assassin can easily instahit him
the medic doesnt have a so powerful armour
the ninja doesnt have armour
the assassin can be 1 hitted by everything when he has assassination on
the dwarf has slowness so that he cant run so fast away
the chemist can only throw some pots until his xp bar is emty. he has to wait that the xp bar is full so that he can throw pots again
and many more ...

btw if u want buffs ask a chemist but he usually wont give u buffs cause you r more op than a chemist and u dont need buffs
u just need a good reaction to block very fast when an assassin is comming

Also Dwarf is definitely not needed for a buff, ranged classes are virtually the only counter to it and if you are even a mildly average Dwarf you know that ninjas killing dwarfs does not happen often, and assassins are very easy to counter. I feel like this buff idea came about for personal gain, rather than to better balance the game.
