11/10 wud fix teh bug again.

 

No, just let ninja has it's old sword back. Why did ninja's blade even got nerfed?

 

See? Proof! Chemist is basically an armored Ninja

The damage values are all screwed up now, and Nom hasn't decided how to handle it last I heard. Ninja damages values were insanely high, so they were brought down quite a bit, which results in chemist doing the same damage as ninja. I think Nom said he wants to change all the other classes, but I'm not sure on what he plans to do.

 

Why did they rework on ninja? Seriously, ninja was one of the least voted on an old thread that wanted to be reworked on. Nevertheless, chemist was the most popular vote. Now, chemist is literally the most overpowered class in ctf (*Note* If you know how to play it). *Note* Chemist vs a ninja used to be around a 60% chance a ninja would kill a chemist. Then, something happened (don't know if it was the rework or some kind of issue) that made it a 70% chance or so for a chemist to kill a ninja. But wait, there's more. This weeks rework on ninja just made it even more difficult (to the point where it isn't fair) to even go against a chemist. All I'm trying to say is that if you want to make the classes balanced, balance them to where they're still fun to play and/or thrilling to be, not balance them to the point that their sh!t and they all cancel each other out because they're just horrible.

 

They lowered the damage values on ninja because when the shift to brawl happened, ninja damage values went crazy high for some reason, probably because brawl hasn't done the same tweaking to damage values that mcpvp did. Ninja was doing much more damage than usual to all classes.

This is also means why yesterday I got 2 shot by a soldier. It was buffed so if an iron sword class gets buffed it becomes ninja. So technically soldier needs a nerf too

Yeah, this was related to the ninja bug where it does crazy amounts of damage. I'm not sure whether it will be changed back or not; depends if Nom can fix the ninja damage output. But chemist, among other classes, will get changed anyway. Reworks aren't top priority - bugs are. The only reason ninja was changed was because of the damage bug.

 

Ninjas sword does 6 hearts of damage, chemist does 5. Or am I wrong
