@SirSushi There are a lot of different teams so don't be disheartened when a few turn you down. If multiple teams turn you down, you can always wait a while and become more experienced before applying again. Just because they deny you in the present doesn't mean that they will do the same in the future. Also applying to every different team doesn't always work in your favour, as the team members will undoubtedly want to know why you picked one over the others. Most teams are very close knit, and so just trying to go for every random team means that you aren't close knit and more likely to be denied.
