    Hi,

    how do you think should people defend against soldier/elf without instakill? They would be unstopable with their fly abilitys. Pyro should keep the instakill aspect and maybe have a cooldown on the bow or something..

    Nice idea, but I think this would make the game too easy for soldier with its limitless flight spam..
    There would be no way to defend on very open maps.

    All classes will need a rework regarding 1.9. Also, I changed pyroblade a bit. Pyroblade will do 3.5 hearts true damage which will make it stronger against the heavy-armoured opponents.

    You are also acting like every single game has a pyro defender. Pyro is easily avoides by a ninja. Chemist has weakness for arrows. So stop acting like pyro is the main defender. Dwarf is. Another reason why we should get closed flagrooms back like standoff's.

    This is not just a rework. It's a class change regarding the combat update of minecraft 1.9. Lots of features from 1.9 like shields will be applied in the game.

    Most of what you stated doesn't apply to what really happens in game.

    Haven't you been taught that it's not polite to speak with one word? Why don't you elaborate why you agree with November?

    I changed pyroblade's ability a bit. It now deals 3,5 hearts of true damage on burning targets.

    Soldiers gets a nerf regardless, it's either going to get the xp-bar on climbing or the soldier won't be able to climb the ground anymore. Besides, we shouldn't focus on pyro as the main defender.

    I don't think all classes will need rework.
    Have you ever played in the match ? Dwarf is usually not allowed to play, so pyro is main defender, and it's hard to def when there is organised group of attackers and you don't always have medic near you.

    I'm not sure if it's good rework for pyro.

    Almost all classes are requested for a rework, which isn't strange since 1.9 is coming, and therefor lots of new features: Shields for example are the new blockers since the right-click option for swords is removed.

    A dwarf can always ask for a medic and in every match (with defense discouraging bad maps like black/whiteout) there are people defending. An organized group will get rid of a pyro more easily then of a dwarf, but I do get your point, I edited and finished my pyro on this thread: https://www.brawl.com/threads/43989/ . With the true damage concept added and the swift gameplay of a sword, range and other abilities it will still remain an amazing counter against heavy-armoured opponents.

    I like it however maybe not insta killed by elf just more damage like chemist pots

    That's a reasonable request

    Pyro = fire. Pots contain water.

    Hello, I have been playing on your CTF server for around 4/5 years now and it has been great. Although I miss many of the old maps, that is aside of my frusteration. Around 3 years ago I purchased the Pyro. It was a super fun class and it may have been a little bit over-powered then. Today, no one on any CTF server chooses the Pyro class because you would have more fun playing as a medic or archer due to the major nerf on the class. In order to kill, just one player, one must hold the bow back for what seems like ages to get an explosive bullet, then hit the person 5 times with the axe while they regenerate their health with steak. By then you are surrounded and don't have time to pull your bow back to relight the enemy on fire. For the frenzy mode, it is far too completed and no one can even get in the groove of properly ustilizing the perk due to the inablility to even get a positive ratio. On the battle grounds, there is no situation where you can sucessfully attemp a 1v1, or enter into the offense, and the only other thing is to maybe play defense, and it ends up only being an assisted kill. I normally find myself going 1-18 with no ability to ever play CTF or obtain kills. I would really like to see something done to the class to improve, simply by simplizing it! Either bring back insta-kill or take away the full-pull back arrow contraption. On top of having no sparring ability, you have the weakest armor in the game plus a wasteful flint and steal that has literally no purpose! The game has lost one of its best classes and I see multiple people agreeing that the Pyro is just an overall awful class now. I can't believe I wrote all this is frusteration, but it has driven me to this point. Everyone would love to see the orginal over powered class that it started out as, and with all your new players, a lot more profit could be made by selling that class. BRING BACK THE PYRO that encouraged me to buy the class.

    If you would like I could send you a video were I play pyro in a match while I like almost never play pyro, and still didn't do a bad job. :smile:
